I have MCAS and unfortunately this triggered me. I was more nauseous and experienced higher heart rate with it. Legumes are high histamine and this may not be suitable for those with histamine toxicity / overload.

I was reacting badly to food dishes with cooked tomatoes but could eat raw tomatoes with no problem. Clearly not an allergy, but what was going on? An internet search suggested a build up of histamine might be the problem and suggested diamine oxidase as treatment. My histamine reactions to Texas barbecue and other smoked meats had gotten out of hand leading to hours of distress. I bought this supplement then ordered an entire pound of brisket from one of my old places, just so I could be sure. I cancelled an appointment just in case the meat had the same old effect. I took a pill, after 5 hungry minutes ate some brisket, and waited. I felt a very mild tingling in my head like my body wanted to do something mean to me but was not able to muster up the old force. Over 24 hours I eventually finished the brisket, each time taking a pill, waiting five minutes, then eating some as usual. Once I did eat too much because I was so excited to be having it again but suffered nothing but an overstuffed belly. What I did NOT suffer was vomiting, runny nose, and the intense hours of migraine that had made me give up my favorite meaty treat. I'm a satisfied customer.

Tengo un problema de disbiosis con histaminosis y el doctor recomendó tomar DAO. El producto llegó el mismo día que lo pedí y en perfecto estado. La caja es funcional, se abre y cierra de manera práctica. Sobre sus efectos, no puedo asegurar nada porque tengo múltiples síntomas; sin embargo, últimamente me he sentido mejor, sin dermatitis ni picazón.
