Samsonite Golf Hard Sided Travel Cover Case

This travel case definitely does a great job at protecting your clubs. It's big enough to house a good sized cart bag and provides enough padding to protect your longer clubs such as the drivers and fairway woods. The bag is also large enough to stock a fully loaded bag and your shoes. The case does not come with locking latches but rather a very durable zipper. I prefer this because latches are easily broken. I also recommend this bag if you are going to check it at the airport. Most airlines will not let you insure your clubs unless you have a hard shell case like this one. Samsonite qualityUpdate: 7 years later and a ton of golfing trips later, this bag is still going strong.. it’s scuffed a bit ,but still looks good, wheels all work and nothing is broken.

I have had this case for a while now and 3 times have had to take it in to get the wheels fixed. The first flight i took it on a wheel broke. I blamed poor handling by the airline. The second flight i took...another wheel broke...again i blamed the airline....The third flight i took....ANOTHER WHEEL BROKE...COME ON!! This was 3 different airlines....@ least they always fix it but that doesn't help me! As others mentioned its big! unless you rent an SUV it wont fit in most trunks unless the rear seats fold down...plan to rent a fullsize and have it across the backseat. One time i had to have it stick out the window like a dog's head! Thank god we were in Phoenix and golfers understood!! lol.

Purchased it May 21st and received it the 22nd. Traveled the 23rd from Hartford to Atlanta direct and the bag was broke when I retrieved it at baggage claim. Delta has taken responsibility but I think there is a design problem.The Roller Wheels (not spinner wheels) have the entire weight of the golf bag pressing on them when the bag is vertical and one roller wheel including the entire housing blew out tearing the case in two places. I had to tape it to keep it from dragging. It is not repairable because the case itself tore so I've asked for a new replacement.Samsonite should consider a re-design.

Car service Cadillac sedan picked me up for my first trip with this. Wouldn't fit in the trunk! This was a full size car; not one of the new smaller models. Also wouldn't fit standing up in the front seat. Might have fit lying across the back seat, but then I would have had to tie my wife to the roof, and I had already used the rope for the dog.Haven't sent it back since I threw the box away. My mistake.

This was the perfect bag to get. Clubs were perfectly secure and safe. The way it moves and handles is great (no I don't think its a car), but b/c of the wheels that allow you to push it OR drag it, it really is nice! After looking at other golf bags in the airport, it was clear that mine was the easiest to handle!

Made 5 overseas trips with this travel case so far this year. All my Taylormade R11 clubs and drivers fit perfect. People often look at the case and wonder what is it in side this beautiful travel case. Best travel case and best price anywhere on the net www.amazon.com rocks!!!
