Creminelli - Italian Artisan Handcrafted Fine Meats, Casalingo Salami, 5.5 Ounce

I bought this item from a livestream on Amazon. Creminelli is a brand I had seen/heard of in the store, but hadn’t seen them at the local grocery stores I shop at. I took a flyer and bought the product on Amazon, and it did not disappoint! The meat chub itself is wrapped in like this heavy duty meat wrap that has a nice almost chewiness and hardness to it. Inside, the meat is super tender and juicy. I couldn’t taste the whiskey too much, but it definitely was delicious. I chopped this up over the course of the week as a low carb, high protein dinner appetizer (honestly was tempted to eat the whole thing in a single sitting). Will definitely be buying again, and maybe adding to my Subscribe and Save list. Love this stuff, highly recommend for my meat lovers out there.

I would say this is the first salami that I found that beats boors head, and it much healthy for you. No ABs and grass fed. my only concern is that is was shipped in a regular Amazon envelope, no insulation with no ice pack. It should be kept cool. I will definitely order again it's just really good stuff but will order only in the winter when it is cooler and never in the summer. If the place was closer to me, I would drive there and pick up a case at a time.

It is very tasty, but very salty. I put a lot of butter on a piece of bread to eat it, then I thoroughly enjoy it. It is somewhat expensive but it is to be expected for all the imported foods are.

So I have experience with the product. I always receive this product monthly and order several at a time by subscription over the past year. I've always enjoyed it, and in the past it has always been well within expiration date, a nice dry casing, and tastes great. My order this month is just NASTY! I opened one of them, it was disgustingly slimy, casing sliding off and smelled bad. I said to myself, ok, maybe just one was like this, so I opened another, from a separate order that arrived at the same time, and it was just as disgusting. I looked at the rest of them through the wrapper, none have the white dusted casing and all are slippery within the package, some of the packages were swollen, product off-gassing I have to assume? When I tried to return, it says, sorry product not returnable. I will be sending a message to the seller today, but I am taking this off my auto-subscription. I've never seen such a foul looking and smelling product.

I used to order salami from Creminelli back when they were still selling it directly and you could order it online from their website. The salami would come sent in a foam cooler box with ice packs. It tasted great and was very high quality. And then they stopped selling directly and started using Amazon. The packaging is different, no cooler packs/boxes, the powder usually found on the outside isn’t there and it seems greasier and less dry then I remember it being. The taste is somewhat different, too. It went from being amazing to just okay. Creminelli, if you changed your recipe, please go back to how it was before!
