Good book
Good book by knowledgeable authors, only complaint is the constant switching of verbiage when referring to the same thing.

Atkins' Physical Chemistry is the top textbook for this subject for a reason - it is very well written, easy to follow and has state-of-the-art graphics and tables to make problem solving a lot easier and a lot more fun.

no online feedback, no trust it in the book compromise
Excellent amazon shipment but this is the worst physical chemistry book ever offering online support. I am sorry that a few years ago Sir Atkins visited Chile in an excellent conference Chilean meeting, but after to buy the book, I have got a confusing loop. I have asked for more than three months for online support, but all the promises about additional documents or information even access to figures from the book have failed. I have got the book from amazon, but I have not got any trust from the book.

Ideal for the chemistry student

La bibbia della chimica-fisica
Assolutamente una Bibbia per chi รจ incline alla chimica. Passo per passo ti accompagna nel mondo della chimica fisica classica con qualche accenno alla quanto-meccanica, ma, di quest'ultima, senza entrare troppo nel dettaglio. Per quanto riguarda tutto il resto รจ un'assoluta certezza. Entalpia, entropia, energia libera di Gibbs, leggi dei gas, etc tutto spiegato perfettamente sia a parole sia tramite i formalismi matematici propri della fisica. Acquisto senza dubbio consigliatissimo.
