Can sloths do anything fast? Mรญa, the impatient sloth, is about to find out slowly, why sloths should stay high up in their trees. As Mรญa explores Colombia's coffee region, several animals quickly take an interest in her. But not all for the right reasons. An easy Spanish reader containing just 70 new vocabulary words and English-Spanish cognates.Language Learner Literature Review: Short and fun - I loved this book. Even though itโs short but it has a good amount of verbs to learn. It also has index for the meaning of them. I sm learning Spanish these day and this book enriched my vocabulary. Definitely I recommend it for any learners no matter what age Review: Great reader! - Copy arrived as described - outstanding shipping, super clean "used" copy, no markings inside. The book itself looks like it fell victim to a bit of an incident with coffee. Edges of pages appear coffee-stained. But the book is still in good condition, perfectly storable, perfectly readable. I love that there are no marks inside! The story is super easy. LOTS of vocab in the glossary. I feel like I could assign this for Spanish 1 in second quarter or later without any issues. If I plan it for Q4, students would have very little need for the glossary. Silly story, fun plot twists, I laughed out loud several times. Can't wait to use it in class!

Another great beginner novel from Mira
Mira is making it hard for me to choose each year which book to teach to my 5th-8th grade Spanish classes because I like so many! Nice moral to story and I can see my students being engaged in the plot.

Great for beginning students
I loved this book! I was looking for a book for my Spanish 1 students to read as a class that was engaging enough to keep teenagers interested. I think this book will be perfect. I like the fun vocabulary, like "vomitar".
