A reliable choice for gardeners looking to support their acid-loving plants.
GARDENWISE 8-4-8 Acidic Fertilizer is specifically formulated for acid-loving plants, such as magnolias, azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, and gardenias. The fertilizer's balanced formula aims to provide the essential nutrients these plants need to thrive in acidic soil conditions. Key Features Nutrient Composition: 8-4-8 NPK Ratio: This indicates the fertilizer contains 8% nitrogen, 4% phosphorus, and 8% potassium. The higher nitrogen content helps promote vigorous growth and lush foliage, while phosphorus supports root development, and potassium enhances overall plant health and resilience. Acidic Soil Optimization: Designed to maintain and enhance the acidic pH levels required by acid-loving plants, ensuring optimal nutrient absorption. Slow-Release Formula: The slow-release nature of the fertilizer ensures a steady supply of nutrients over time, reducing the risk of nutrient burn and promoting sustained plant health. Ease of Use: Can be applied directly to the soil around the plants. Typically recommended to be used during the growing season for best results. Pros Promotes Healthy Growth: The balanced nutrient composition supports overall plant health, encouraging robust growth and vibrant blooms. Long-Lasting: The slow-release formula means fewer applications are needed, providing convenience for gardeners. Specific for Acid-Loving Plants: Tailored to the needs of specific plant types, ensuring they get the right nutrients in the right proportions. Cons Limited Application: Only suitable for acid-loving plants, so it might not be versatile enough for gardens with a diverse range of plant types. Potential Over-Fertilization: Care must be taken to follow application instructions to avoid over-fertilizing, which can damage plants. Conclusion The GARDENWISE 8-4-8 Acidic Fertilizer is a reliable choice for gardeners looking to support their acid-loving plants. Its balanced nutrient profile and slow-release formula make it convenient and effective, leading to healthier, more vibrant plants. While its use is somewhat limited to specific plant types, for those with magnolias, azaleas, and similar plants, it offers targeted nutrition that can significantly enhance plant health and growth.

Pretty effective for bed bugs
I bought this because I had read reviews that it would help with bedbugs and I had a big bedbug problem. I had recently moved into a new, kinda crummy, but didn't care cause I could afford to live there (well mostly) apartment. However, a couple of months in and I'm covered in red marks, itchy, my sleep is being disturbed and I'm wondering why I'm feeling like crap. I haven't seen anything at all to point me in the right direction. I'm having an especially bad time and think I've caught the plague. Finally, I saw the biggest bug ever walking on my wall and I'm kind of in disbelief and not wanting to get closer. After, I catch fleeting glimpses of a tiny bug here and there and I'm unsure of what they are. But I've gotten to the point where I'm just waking up for anything, completely sleep deprived, and unable to get any rest, just thrashing in bed. I finally throw all my covers off of my bed and I see a few and then i get to the seams and they are just everywhere. I'm feeling physically ill when I see them and I don't wanna be near them but I grab tissue and get to killing them. I have a freaking pit in my stomach. I throw my bedding in the laundry as hot as it can go. So the smell. I still remember and that sick feeling comes back to me. I think I killed all of the ones that I found, but I sit in the doorway looking into my room to see if I can sense any movement and I look up how to get rid of them. I keep checking my mattress for signs of life. The results didn't seem promising. Most things said that exterminators were not even successful most of the time. I couldn't afford one to try either. I read that some people used rubbing alcohol and some people used baby powder. I doused my bed in alcohol and ran it along the seams. That maybe drew a few out and I think it's possible that they didn't like it, but it did not do anything close to killing them. It at least made things smell better. I didn't have baby powder, but I ran to the nearest dollar store as soon as I was able. I also picked up more rubbing alcohol so I could keep at it. I threw baby powder all over the bed. Now I cannot say much for baby powder as it didn't seem to slow them down one bit. However, it did help being able to find them. You could see the movement underneath the baby powder. It was like the movie, Tremors, but in your bed and with creatures FAR more terrifying. It's the stuff freaking nightmares are made of. I become more organized than the General of the Army. I'm planning midnight attacks, two a.m. raids. I've become merciless. I've also noticed that for sure I'm more effective than my arsenal and I really can't keep up at this pace. I become despondent. I still don't have any money. All of the products that I've found haven't worked or are way out of my reach. I've grown increasingly sensitive to the bed bugs and I can feel them when they bite. I can't sleep. I use myself as bait while I research further. I find a glimmer of something. Diatomaceous Earth. I can't even spell it and I'm not sure that I should get it. It's not super expensive but finances are tight and I am already doubting that it's a good investment. I finally go ahead and buy it. I'm cautiously optimistic. I have to be cautious otherwise I can already see myself broken if it doesn't work. I think that it got there really quickly, and I tore into it. I wasn't able to purchase the dusting gun, so I used a plastic cup. I put powder everywhere. My house was a giant puff of dust. I had to wear a bandana around my face like an old- timey bandit. I started in the bedroom in all of the nooks and crannies that I could think of and worked my way downstairs. What I lacked in finesse, I made up for in zest. I put the dust underneath my bed, on the sides of my bed, in and on top of the mattress, put the sheets on and then covered each layer with some more, stuffed my pillowcases, flung it on the curtains, on the carpets, in the outlets, along the baseboards. There was powder everywhere. Like I said I was lacking finesse. I keep adding to it every few days, thinking of better and better hiding spots and my apartment is covered. But I am getting less bites. I am still waking up at night and doing searches, but they are returning very little. I'm pretty excited. Each day is getting better. I wake up one day and I see a big lady bedbug trying to scamper out of danger. I killed her pregnant ass. That was two years ago and writing this was a bit too much of a reminder. I'm feeling all creepy crawly and remember how helpless that I had felt. I want to be sure though that if people are in the same situation that I was in that they are able to find a review of something that did work and hopefully it doesn't take them as long to find it. Good luck!
