10-inch 16K LCD Screen Only Compatible with ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra 16K Resin 3D Printer

My screen died on the printer so I got a replacement. Not too difficult to change, but I would recommend a heat gun to undo the adhesive under the old screen.

Happy these are available on amazon. Last time we tried to get the screen through elegoo directly they wanted to have us answer "why" and "what we use it for" and all kinds of stuff. I just wanted the part and they didnt want my money enough. These guys supplied. Multiple times. Which sounds like the saturn aren't good products but I admit to user error. Saturn is great for statuettes and miniatures.

I would leave a zero-star review if I could. The first grievance is that my printer was not even remotely assembled as the one in the video. Nothing was in the same place, and disassembly took much longer as there was much more to take apart. Removing the old screen, too, was nightmarish. The old adhesive held so well I had to bash it out (lightly) with a hammer. So much for "tempered glass." I wound up with chips and shards everywhere. Total mess. Then - this is also on me - came the final insult. As seen in the attached video, the clip to hold down the connecting end of the ribbon was not even present. The old one, fragile as they are, broke apart when I tried a transplant. After waiting for weeks, after dealing with all the mess and the hassle, to realize the part was broken (incomplete) on arrival makes me not want to replace a screen ever again.

Received it in a timely fashion within the time frame the seller had anticipated. Replacement for my Saturn 3 Ultra. Fitted after watching a YT video, and tested. Working well.

The screen was perfect, intact and installed perfectly. My only gripe is you do not get replacement protection tape for all the other connecters that have to be removed.

Everything you need. Minus a screw driver of course. I took my time and followed the instructions provided online by Elegoo. There are a number of vids that show shortcuts to save you time ... but since I'm not made of money, I did it the official way. Slow and steady so they say ... just get your tools out in advance and make sure you have a bit more room then you think you will need.

自分で交換してみて気づいた事 1.分解の際、電動工具があると交換にスピードアップできます。ただし組み立ての際は電動工具は使用せず手締めにしなければなりません。強い力で締めるとパーツが割れます。 2.動画の通り行えば問題ありませんでした。 初めての交換でしたが3約時間で交換できました。 3.基盤に差し込む配線テープの接続は慎重に行った方が良いです。試運転時の自己診断機能で交換したLCDにエラーが出てかなり焦りましたが再度接続しなおしたら直りました。 4.古いLCDを外す際、ヘアドライヤーでLCDの縁を温めないと外れませんのでヘアドライヤーを事前に必ず用意すべきです。 5.外したネジは小分けして紛失しないようにしましょう。 6.細かい作業なので老眼の方は拡大メガネを用意しましょう。手元が暗いのでヘッドランプもあると良いです。 7.配線テープをコネクタに接続した後に貼る黒いテープは既存のテープを転用しますから、分解時捨てないでようにしましょう。 8.初めて分解時に外すコネクタにグルーがついています。ピンセットなどで根気よく外しましょう。 9.新しいLCDを本体に固定する両面テープは予備が2枚ずつ梱包されてきますが微妙に幅のサイズが違うので適正な幅のテープを利用しましょう。 他のレビューにも記載されてますが、 工数やネジは非常に多いですが、動画の通りに行えば概ね成功します。 自分で交換できる設計ですので経費削減で 助かりました。 概ね良い製品だと思います。今後も Elegooのプリンタは使用しようと思います。
