Venus Products (35%)

On the advice of my dentist, I purchased a Venus Pro White system from his office. They provided me with the 22 percent solution, but I wasn't very pleased with the whitening results. I asked him if I could move to the 35 percent solution. He told me that would be fine, but to be careful not to leave it on as long as the 22 percent solution. Because the Amazon price was significantly better than the dental office price, I ordered the product from Amazon. While I had to return the first order because two of the syringes were broken (the product isn't too well protected in shipping) the replacement order was just fine. And the results from using the 35 percent solution were great. I now use it every few months to maintain the level of white I achieved. Highly recommended.

Exact same product (manufacturer and strength; I use 35% strength) as from my dentist. But less than half the cost. Wish I had looked on Amazon sooner!

I bought a lesser strength of this from my dentist but wasn't happy with the whitening ability so I decided to try this higher strength and it's better. I'd recommend.

After using this product for two very successful bleachings . . . I'm having trouble understanding why several users have implied that it may not be the same thing sold by dentists. I found it to be exactly the same. In just 30 quick minutes, it did precisely as good a job bleaching my teeth as the exact same product I got from my dentist . . . at half the price. Be very suspicious when half of the critical reviewers say the stuff sold by Amazon is so weak it didn't do any bleaching at all . . . while the other half say it was so much more powerful than the same product supplied by their dentist that it supposedly burned their gums. Huh? Which way is it, folks? It's highly unlikely to be both less powerful and more powerful than the same stuff sold by their dentists. Draw your own conclusions, folks, as to who is telling the truth here . . . or who is just terribly confused. Here's the likeliest explanation. This stuff comes in several different concentrations, ranging all the way up to 35%. The people who found it less potent or more potent than the stuff they got from their dentist may be inadvertently ordering a weaker or stronger solution that their dentist uses. Use a magnifying glass to check the teeny-tiny print on the syringe your dentist sold you to see what percentage they gave you. I like the maximum 35% --but that maximum strength can leave your gums a TINY bit irritated -- usually not enough to be a problem. The irritation quickly goes away in 12 to 24 hours. To reduce the irritation, I space my 30-minute bleachings several days or even a week apart. As for those who say the version sold by Amazon is "fake" . . . get real, people. How long do you think the legitimate manufacturer would allow Amazon to continue selling a counterfeit version of their patented, trade-marked product if these people yelling "fake" had any validity at all? Wanna try selling fake Coca-Cola on Amazon and see how many minutes it takes Coca-Cola to haul your behind into court? There's also another possible explanation. If you aren't already suspecting that some of those reviewers are dentists themselves who are furious that you can bypass them and buy this stuff direct from Amazon at half the price . . . then you must be awfully naive. These are NOT the same as the ones in my original kit I got from my dentist. The look identical, but they did not work at all! The ones that came in my original kit showed improvement in my teeth whiteness after 3 applications. I used these from Amazon and after 6 applications, no difference at all. My teeth looked the same. Do not waste your money on these.

The product is the correct product and seems to be working, thw packaging was sketchy and did not seem like it came from a proper seller. 4 syringes were in a plastic tray that was cut to fit only 4. Then it was placed in a paper bag that said thank you and in a black bag shipped. The caps were all on so I will use the rest of them, but I won't be ordering from here again. The product seems all in order, but thw packaging with no labels seems a little fishy.
