Rechargeable NiMh AAA 800mAh 8 Pack + AA 2000mAh 8 Pack, with 8 Bay Battery Charger, No AC Power Adapter, USB C Port, 16 count in total, Black

Good

Excellent product, easy to use and load.

Holds plenty of batteries, not the fastest charger and quite hit and miss on charging the batteries, find I have to check the lights as for some reason, some flash as an error but then take them out put back in the same spot and it works?? Bit odd.. but for the price can't grumble to much.

Charger stopped working just outside of the return window, Batteries are fine and charge in other devices, just a fast blinking light on this POS.

Fantastic value, works first time very satisfied, battery contain is very positive.. buy it

Great product, charges the batteries just fine and very glad that it's usb c

Not reliable at all, after charging for a few minutes it starts flashing fast, indicating some kind of error / battery fault despite only using the Amazon rechargeable batteries supplied with it. When it does eventually charge them, they don't last long at all. Unsure if the batteries or the charger (or both) are to blame, but will be seeking a better alternative to this product.

Not worth it

The Amazon Basics Rechargeable NiMH Battery Kit with Bay Charger is one of those purchases that immediately proves its worth. From the moment you open the box, the engineering quality and thoughtful packaging stand out. Each battery is neatly organized, protected, and clearly labeled, and the charger itself is compact, sturdy, and built with a level of precision that feels far above the price point. The batteries are impressive in both feel and performance. The AA 2000mAh and AAA 800mAh cells have a solid construction with a clean finish and consistent weight—small indicators of well-made cells. Once charged, they deliver stable, long-lasting power that performs just as well as, and often better than, many of the more expensive name-brand rechargeable batteries on the market. Whether in high-drain devices like flashlights, controllers, and small electronics, or in lower-drain household items, the runtime is consistently strong. The charger is equally noteworthy. It operates quietly, gives clear visual indicators, and charges efficiently without overheating. The independent bay design ensures each battery gets exactly the charge it needs, extending long-term lifespan. This is a feature you typically see in higher-priced smart chargers, yet here it’s included at a surprisingly affordable cost. What makes this kit exceptional is the value. For the cost of a single pack of premium disposable batteries, you’re getting a full rechargeable system that pays for itself quickly. It’s a smart investment for anyone who uses battery-powered devices regularly—families, photographers, tech users, and anyone looking to reduce waste and recurring costs. Use-cases range from around-the-house electronics to camping gear, flashlights, kids’ toys, bike accessories, and backup emergency kits. The batteries hold their charge well in storage, making them ideal for both everyday use and preparedness. Pros • Strong engineering and solid overall build quality • Long-lasting charge with consistent performance • Smart, independent-bay charger prevents overcharging • Excellent value compared to premium rechargeable brands • Ideal for high- and low-drain devices alike Cons • None—this kit is a fantastic buy For anyone looking for reliable rechargeable power at a fair price, this Amazon Basics kit delivers professional-level performance and long-term savings that make it an easy recommendation.

Having a charger using a usb port is so much more convenient than having those old plug in chargers, and it can charge a ridiculous amount of batteries. As for the batteries, well they’re batteries. They work well and charge relatively fast.
