We've tasted probably 20 different types of espresso beans in our breville so far and none compare to this. It's stood the tests of comparison and time and gives us the strength we need to power through the day as parents of 3. The flavor is incredible.

Great coffee. This is the lightest roast that we buy (Three Sisters is a medium roast), and it sees regular monthly rotation through our grinder. In general, I find that the Kicking Horse beans are consistent in terms of freshness, quality, and roasting levels from bag to bag, year to year. Individual flavour profiles are hard to review, as it depends entirely on an individuals taste preferences, but I can say with certainty that the three sisters medium roast is true to it's name as a medium roast coffee, and that the flavour matches well with the bags description of "cocoa, stone fruit, and sweet tobacco". Beans are always aromatic and oily, I've never had any off flavours or shrivelled, stale beans. Love Amazon carrying this through the subscribe options, and in 1 kg bags! We have monthly subscriptions set up for our coffee beans, and I've found that these Kicking Horse bags are always fresh and at a better price than any of my local stores.

I've made this as a pour-over, french press, traditional percolation, everything I own and it's done great across the board. It's a well balanced coffee, on the lighter side as medium blends go but it's by no means a light roast. I can understand why this is their highest rated beans when I've used them.
