Just for evergreens which is what I wanted.d
I wanted a fertilizer for pine trees. I have quite a few babies that have managed to survive Ohio's chaotic weather. Some are tiny, less than 3 inches, a couple are 4 inches. The larger are 28 inches, up to 4 feet, all seedlings. Most acid fertilizers are all in one, meaning hydrangeas and others BUT this product is just for evergreens. It comes in granular form. Since this is my first purchase I can't comment on effectiveness but will update when I keep know.

too small of a bag

One 1/2 lb package covers only one tree.
Per the product directions 2 cups for any tree over tree over there feet. So one 1/2 lb bag = one tree or bush. Not a good value, and the is not offered in the procuct description.

1 and 3/4 cups of granules?? You’re joking
The size of the bag is a joke for the price! I have 8 young arborvitaes I planned to fert with half-cup as they recommended - I’ve only got 1 3/4 cups!! That’s one and three quarters of cup of fert that was just enough for 4 plants at half-dose!! Unless this thing makes miracles - it’s nothing but a massive waste of money!!! Will update my review as I watch my Smaragds - so far 2 stars for timely delivery and for actually sending it …. Super disappointed thus far
