I absolutely love my Ello Oasis!! I had actually read the reviews and watched the videos. I am very much a cup queen. 👸🏾🌸I wanted to treat myself for my 31st Birthday this year. {3/12} It check all of my boxes in what I like in a cup. 1.leakproof was a must. (I carry my cups everywhere) I’ve never seen a retractable straw. It’s amazing!! 🥰💖 2.Comfortability- It is very comfortable to hold in my right hand or left when my other hand is full. (It has an indentation for your thumb to rest while holding) 3. The color and print on the cup is textured and feels very nice to the touch. (I got the blue floral print) 4.Has to be able to keep my water cold/cool all day. It has passed the test for me many times!! 🎉💕🥰 5. It has a nice size! 40oz is the perfect amount of water for me for throughput my warm days or weekends 6. Car cup holder friendly- It fits perfectly in my cup holder, no problem. 7. It has to be able to be dishwasher safe- It washes well in the dishwasher but I usually hand wash it to preserve the cup’s beauty. I have already recommended this cup to many of my friends and coworkers! I can’t say enough good things about it. 💖☺️🥰

The mechanics of the straw is awesome. When u turn the top the straw will raise and lower. Looks well designed. Keeps drinks cool. Awesome buy. Perfect size for cup holders.color was on point. Very well made

Bought it for my pregnant wife as she had a wrist issue that made it hard for her to lift the bottle while drinking. She loves it! We LOVE the following: 1. The straw is made of silicone rather than plastic 2. The straw can be conveniently sealed when not in use so the lid is totally leak proof 3. It fits in the car 4. She loves the colors! 5. Various parts can be taken apart and put in the dishwasher for cleaning 6. Keeps the water cold for hours Whoever designed this product is a God send. In a world of cheaply made, badly designed products this is a unicorn.

I've developed a somewhat obsession with 40 oz. tumblers. I'm on meds that make me thirsty, so I keep one next to me 24/7. I've tried many different brands, and most have something great to recommend them, but come up short in other areas. My biggest complaint always comes down to leaking. Most of the double-walled tumblers will keep your drinks cold for at least 24 hours when filled with ice added at the beginning. But some have issues with lids popping off and all the ice and drink exploding all over the floor when tipped over. (I've had more than enough nights ruined by reaching over for my tumbler at night and accidentally knocking it over and having a huge mess that I have to jump out of bed and clean up. It's not easy to fall right back to sleep after that!) For this reason, I always look for screw on lids rather than the ones you just push on. The next issue is if they tip over and leak from the straw opening. For that issue I look for mugs with silicone seals around the straw opening. But even then, if it's tipped over, your straw opening lands on the floor even if it doesn't fall out of the mug and needs to be cleaned before using again. When I saw this tumbler, I was surprised to see a retractable straw. I wasn't sure how it would work, so I watched a video of it in use. The top of the straw is the firm plastic that I prefer to use. (The soft silicone ones just feel weird to me - personal choice issue....) However, the inner part of the straw is soft silicone and bends over when the tab on the top is twisted around and the upper straw is then drawn down into the tumbler. Genius! It really does seal it tight as well. I tried filling the mug full and then held it over the tub and vigorously shook it to see if anything would come out. Nothing! As an added bonus, there is a little 'bump' thing on the side of the lid that makes it so much easier to get a good grip to help unscrew the lid. As a 71-year-old lady with nerve damage in my hand, I've often had to ask my husband or sons help loosen the lid for me. What a pain to have to wait for help to fill your drink! As for the normal functions of all tumblers this size, it does indeed hold 40 oz. of ice and liquid. I fill mine with ice first thing in the morning then add more cold Diet Mt. Dew throughout the day (and night if needed). I still have ice left the next morning and the drinks stay cold the whole time. I've left my mug in a hot car for several hours as I shopped and it didn't seem to affect it at all. It's definitely well made with a comfortable handle that even has a silicone insert at the top of the handle to help with the thumb grip. The coating is slightly textured to help hold it even when wet. It's not any heavier than any other tumblers of its size and easily fits into my car holder. I do wish it came with a silicone bottom to help keep it from scratching surfaces and slipping around when reaching for it. But I've gotten used to buying silicone boots here on Amazon for my previous tumblers, so I have several to use. I just ordered one to match this one's color better than the ones I already have. (Yes, I have a shelf full of tumblers with boots - I keep them all to use at picnics for everyone to cut down on the amount of ice we need....) I do wish they came in more colors, but that is not a deal breaker. I'm sure they're waiting to see how well they will be received before they release them in all the colors their other mugs come in. Value wise, they are much cheaper than most of the other mugs I've seen and or bought. One other note. Most of these types of tumblers state they are not to be used with carbonated beverages. I can't drink the amount of water I need to stay hydrated - for some reason water seems to make me feel thirstier and if I drink enough, I get nauseated. So, I decided to investigate and found that on the Stanley site it stated that most carbonated beverages are stored in stainless steel barrels before distribution with no issues. The main thing that I've found is that you need to make sure there is a way for the carbon dioxide gas to escape, or it can do the 'Old Faithful' spurt when you open them. (I've had that happen several times! I quit using any type of mug with a sealed lid without any way of venting) Even though these don't leak, the gas can still slowly escape around the straw opening. I've bumped and shaken my mugs a lot and not had any problems with the ones with straws. I haven't found any erosion in the linings of any of my mugs, even the ones I've used for years. The stainless steel doesn't seem to affect the taste at all. All in all, this is my favorite tumbler of all the others that I've bought. I have at least 8 other brands and this one outshines them all. The only thing that remains to be seen is how well it will hold up. I will update in the future if I find any issues.

I'm a diehard Corkcicle fan but the price point was decent for this tumbler, so I decided to give it a try. I love this cup! Pros: 1. The tumbler feels substantial - not too heavy and not too lightweight or cheap. 2. Handle feels nice and big and I love the soft thumb rest spot on the handle. 3. It really is easy to clean. I thought I'd be overwhelmed by the mechanical stuff under the lid but it comes with learn directions and once you realize how the straw cleaning works, it's very simple and no nonsense. 4. I love the little tab on the side of the lid that helps you unscrew the lid. 5. I love that the straw tucks away from germs and bugs and that it is leakproof! 6. Fits in my car cupholders with no issues. Cons: 1. My only concern is that I wish the straw was a tiny bit wider like the Corkcicle straw. The sipping experience is nice and pretty easy but if they widened the straw just a little bit more, this tumbler would be PERFECTION!! Give it a try - it's a fun cup!!

I love the retractable straw. This cup was recommended by a friend and I bought one to take on vacation. It is great! I love that I tuck the straw away and prevent germs as well as leakage. The lid also seals well enough the cup does not spill at all. Completely full, it has some weight, but the handle makes it easy to hold and to drink from. It does a nice job keeping ice and I loved this one with the raised design and soft blue color. I showed it to a friend and she ordered the green colored one and she loves it!

I love this cup! I own a few things from ELLO and they’re all such good quality. This one is super cute and will keep your drinks cold for 24 hours! I love that you can retract the straw and it won’t leak if it tips over. Just be careful not to overfill it with ice! The straw will get stuck and not work properly. That’s a user error but other than it’s a great tumbler!

This is the first time I’m writing a review for a product I’ve ever purchased, just because I’m so impressed and happy with this tumbler. I’m a mail carrier, and was looking for a good sized tumbler that not only would keep my coffee warm all day, but also wouldn’t spill or leak. Since I don’t have a cup holder in the mail truck, I stick this tumbler in my bag and go about my day. No spills, no leaks, it doesn’t even “sweat” if I have cold water in it, that’s how good it is. The retractable straw is also so smart and a great design. I was worried at first that even though it retracts, there would still be some leakage. Nope! It’s more sealed than a vault. It also makes taking a sip much easier to do since I don’t have to worry about spillage when drinking. The handle is also great, easier to grab and hold onto the tumbler, and also helps to stop it from rolling around when I’m driving on bumpier roads. I’ve had water bottles and coffee mugs before that boast about keeping beverages at a desired temperature for hours, and 90% of the time it’s never been true. Not this tumbler! I’ll make a hot coffee at 6am and by 4pm, that coffee will still be hot, which has been a godsend when it’s below freezing outside. I fully trust that once it gets hotter out, it’ll keep water or iced coffee cold all day long. The colors are also very nice; but I’ll be honest I wasn’t really going for looks as much as I was going for a product that can withstand a bit of a beating without getting coffee everywhere, and in that regard this definitely hits it out of the park. I love my tumbler and I’ll definitely be buying another in a larger size.

I ❤️ this! I own other bottles but was looking for one with a straw but it MUST BE RETRACTABLE - Bingo! This is beautiful, great in my car cup holder (so important!), straw retracts easily, love the colour, ❤️ the quality and best of all for the price. Its value for money for a reasonable not overpriced bottle like some others. ❤️❤️❤️

It was good until it started leaking. No matter how tight you close it, the rubber around the straw part will wear off eventually. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Me encanta, la razón por la que lo compré es porque el popote se puede ocultar lo cual permite que esté menos expuesto a la mugre y también se puede transportar sin que gotee. No me parece difícil de lavar, el agua se mantiene fresca y me fascina que sea totalmente hermético, además es muy bonito. Lo recomiendo mucho.
