Tasty and effective
Exactly the product I needed! Without it, I get pills stuck down in my esophagus and I develop terrible heartburn. With it, the pills go down smooth and no discomfort or heartburn! I told my psychiatrist about it, he was shocked it existed and said he would recommend it to other patients. Not expensive, you get a lot of applications for your money. Tastes great and works well, what more can you ask for?!

I sucked at swallowing pills — but now I don’t. 💯
I am in awe at how well this works. I have always had problems swallowing pills, it’s like my swallow function shuts down when they get near the back of my throat. So, of course I’m prescribed what has to be the biggest pill on the market, and I’m struggling with using peanut butter, even oatmeal, to make it go down. But with this spray, it has some true magic inside it because I have now swallowed my giant pills with water. TWICE. It’s a Big Pharma miracle. 💯 recommend, I will get another bottle for sure in the future, but you only have to use two sprays of it each time, so that may be awhile. 🙌🏻

Will be buying again!
The flavor almost reminds me of a strawberry flavored medicine, so I can’t say I love that aspect. That said, I can overlook it. I take iron tablets and have a horrible time swallow pills. Iron tablets tend to dissolve quickly in my mouth and leave me with a sickening taste. Along with my major difficulty with swallowing pills in general, it’s always been very hard for me to take medication. This spray, however, is a game changer. It coats my mouth and throat with 2 sprays, covers up the awful taste, and coats my throat/mouth with a slickness. This product has greatly reduced my anxiety around taking pills. The only drawback is that I wish they sold larger bottles.

Pill Glide to the rescue!
I was prescribed a course of clindamycin, which was causing servere throat irritation no matter how much water I drank when taking it. I turned to Amazon for a solution and ordered this, hoping it would help. It’s amazing - I spray 2-3 sprays in my mouth, put the med in my mouth, swirl it around to coat it, and then swallow with a swig of water. Med goes down easy with zero throat irritation. It just works!

Worthless
I purchased the Pill Glide Spray to help me swallow pills post abdominal surgery. The spray did not help in the least, even after spraying the pill, tongue, and throat a dozen times per pill. Plain old applesauce and water worked best. If anything, the Pill Glide Spray just made swallowing worse. A worthless product.

A useful component in learning how to swallow pills
I thought I had dysphagia because I often have a fear of choking and haven’t been able to take pills all of my life. Liquid medicine and gummies aren’t cheap, and not all medicine comes in a pill. I’d tried many times with a low success rate, and ended up buying this pill spray and a bottle cap that was advertised to help. The bottle cap didn’t work for my purposes, and I kept spilling water everywhere. This spray tastes like a sugar-free candy kinda; I think how good of a taste is up to if you can tolerate the sorbitol flavor? It reminds me of those hard candies with the strawberry wrapper. It lubricates your tongue to prevent the pill from sticking and masks the flavor of the pill if it starts dissolving in your mouth. I don’t think it /solved/ my dysphagia, but it helped greatly in the process of learning to swallow pills. What helped me the MOST was using a liquid other than water, preferably in a bottle. Something appetizing that you enjoy and want to drink, because the unmasked flavor of water and dissolved pills and stress makes it even harder to get your body to swallow. I spray once or twice, set the pill as far back as I can without gagging (or in the indent in the middle if it’s larger), swallow a mouthful of a sweetened beverage from a bottle (head tilted back to let the pill slide toward my throat), and it usually works. If the pill floats to the side of my mouth, I take a few deep breaths, remove the pill from my mouth, and spray my tongue again. I still can’t swallow large pills yet, but I’ve worked up to being able to take several small pills in one gulp. I can even take pills without the spray now because of how used to the motion I’ve gotten, but when I have it, I usually choose the spray because it tastes pretty good and it helps. So much freedom when I visit the drug store now! Thanks! Hopefully someone who can relate will get some use out of this. I just wish it came in larger bottles and was maybe easier to find.

This stuff works!
I have a problem with large tablets and capsules because my esophageal sphincter muscle does not open all the way when I swallow. Fortunately, no problems with food or drink. I was very skeptical when I ordered this product, but I went ahead because of the many favorable reviews. I can say now that in my own case it has been very helpful. There are still some things this spray may not be able to overcome. One of my worst prescriptions is a gelcap, and it is light in weight and somewhat sticky. When I use this spray, the gelcap goes right down to my esophagus, gets into it, then sticks there and slowly dissolves with a lot of uncomfortable burning sensation. I think I will try spraying the gelcap as well as my throat next time and see if that can correct the sticking tendency. Anyway, this product has a pleasant taste and it works for me.
