A very interesting product. A bit of a learning curve to upload documents, I had to look at Youtube videos, but still good. The paper feel is excellent. When drawing the colours are quite faded, very dull,.. so it will be interesting to see what the colours are like when I print. Charged really slow... I mean hours, when connected to my computer.. but, very quick on a basic 20W apple iPhone charger. It has to be said, it's expensive for what it is.

I was a ReMarkable 2 user. I upgraded to the ReMarkable Paper Pro (RPP). ReMarkable are the only paper tablets I've used and this upgrade was well worth it. Amazon's own pay in 3 options really helped as it's well documented just how expensive this product is, but as an avid note taker for work on a daily, hourly basis it's a tool that has saved me countless notebooks (although I'm nowhere near having saved the cost of 2x remarkable devices in saved notebook expense). What it has saved me is storage space and time and effort in organising and finding my notes with the help of tags. Start using tags immediately -finding your notes without them once you're several months in can be a pain. Everything that I wanted to be improved from the RM2 has been upgraded for RPP. Colour and backlight are also well documented and both very delicate yet effective. Less well publicised is the slightly larger screen and the improved detail possible with pen styles and widths. Where the RM2 was prone to blurring and flaring the strokes at the screen edges this one maintains tight and improved detail throughout. While heavier and slightly larger, mine is always desk bound and so remains comfortable to use or rather holding it is never an issue for me. The addition of colour is very good. There are many different types of colour from highlighters to R,G,B, magenta, orange, cyan, yellow, grey... plus shaders which give you different depths and strengths of each colour. Don't expect OLED vibrancy of colour however... The colours are pale, (washed out even) on the RPP's own screen, which is fine for note taking - but they're strong and vibrant once you open your document on PC, phone or tablet screens. There was nothing about this purchase that I regret, but it definitely comes down to the balance of price versus need as it's not cheap.

Beautiful hardware with basic software but I absolutely love it. The writing experience is clearly where the development of this device has been focused. The software is basic and there are some annoying quirks and bugs. For example, I have had out of memory errors switching between PDF’s and notebooks (necessitating a restart) and the eraser sometimes does not work when zooming in. This should not happen at this price point. The screen refresh does not bother me but it is clear they have “cheaped out” on choice of processor. Despite all this it excels in what it was designed for. I take copious notes and it has rarely (see above) let me down. The sync is instantaneous and the notebooks created are great. It has a nice tagging system for classifying notes. Battery life is so-so. I have the light switched off and it will get me through a working day but it will need charging regularly. I recommend this (dependent on your use case.) For me it is spot on, but if you want, for example, a Goodnotes feature-laden application, or wide app choice experience you won’t get it. It just focuses on handwritten notes. The handwriting feel is top drawer.

The title of the review is intentionally specific. If you are looking for something that does more than take notes, then you will be disappointed. Fantastic technology, it feels similar to paper and pen. Of courses one could argue that a paper notebook and pen is far cheaper. They are right, but you're not buying this because you can't afford a paper notebook. The build quality is fantastic. Feels solid and premium. There are some occasional issues with the pen not being detected by the tablet. They do seem to be widespread and it is frustrating when it happens as there is no clear way to resolve it. It has only happened a handful of times but as of writing this review it is still not resolved

Faulty and only a couple months old

Delivery was easy and perfect (same day) No issues. Attractive packaging aesthetically pleasing. Impressed with the quality although a little heavy I am okay with this as to me it implies good workmanship. However I am not sure it justifies the heavy price tag. Writes nicely although I have only had it for a short while and there is a lot to get your (my) head around (such as the functionality) Would agree with other reviews that the colours are muted if using that option and it does flicker and can be a bit slow but this function doesn't bother me as I am only bothered about the writing experience which is good. I would also agree that the screen is dark without the backlight but not an issue as I use It with the backlight which I suppose will drain the battery quickly. Anyway at the moment I am enjoying my new writing experience very much.

The first thing to say is that it's very expensive. And the second thing to say is that there's nothing wrong with using a notepad and pen... Yet, somehow, the third thing to say is that you absolutely need one of these. The writing action is smooth and natural. I use it by starting the day with a new notepad for the day and then scribbling down whatever I need to remember, from TODO lists to quick notes to phone numbers.

Does what it says, fantastic for note taking, keeping up on all the junk you have to write in the modern 'paperless Office'. Calendar, notes, no hunting through a dozen spiral notebooks looking for something!

Es el mejor libro de tinta electrónico que he tenido (solo había tenido kindles pero amazon me hizo favor de actualizarlos y dejarlos como pisapapeles) , solo puedes leer y escribir, ni siquiera la hora te muestra, y eso es lo que lo hace genial, no te distraes y solo avanzas en tus lecturas, los colores son una ayuda aunque se vean un poco deslavados, para leer comics no esta bueno, pero para libros de texto si ayudan, lo que si es que el amarillo deja algunas manchas, pero el amarillo es el que más resalta, por lo que resaltar en amarillo esta bien implementado, tiene una nube que sincroniza tus documentos por si gustas de las apps (no dejan escribir con pluma solo con teclado). Al la luz del día en la calle e incluso al sol directo se ve perfecto, como una impresión, indoors es un poco gris por lo que hace falta la retroiluminación en 3/5 o 4/5 (con nivel aumentado). La batería dura unas 16 horas de uso intensivo (debido a la retroiluminación activada) sin reto dura unas 40hrs estimo.

Very great to use. I thought about this for along time (over a year) before I actually bought it. The only complaint I have is that I waited so long. It’s convenient to have a “tablet” writing pad that’s not a tablet. There are no games or distractions. The brightness settings are cool for low light but you can turn them off to save battery. I love how you can have folders as well. Highlighter function is very cool. The remarkable is very user friendly. Writing isn’t quite like paper but pretty darn close for electronic. Very much worth the money and I would recommend it over and over again.
