With a full house, managing laundry is a constant battle, and keeping a reliable stain remover on hand is absolutely necessary. I picked up this Shout Active Enzyme spray, and it has completely saved several items of clothing from being ruined. Here is how it performs on actual laundry day: Stain Fighting Power: The enzyme formula is incredibly effective. I’ve used it on everything from standard dirt and mud tracked in from the yard, to coffee drips and oily food splatters. As long as you catch the stain relatively early, this lifts it right out in a normal wash cycle. The Application: The spray nozzle dispenses a thick, clinging foam rather than a runny liquid. This is fantastic because it stays exactly where you spray it and really saturates the targeted fibers instead of dripping everywhere. Fabric Safety: Despite being tough on stains, it hasn't caused any fading, discoloration, or weakening of the fabric on any of my standard cottons, blends, or synthetics. The Drawback: While it works wonders on organic stains (food, dirt, sweat), it is not a miracle worker for heavy ink or set-in grease stains that have already been through the dryer. You definitely need to apply it before washing and drying. Verdict: It is an affordable, highly reliable staple that I keep right next to my laundry hamper. If you want to stop throwing away clothes because of accidental spills, this is a must-have!

I tried this stain remover on a few different fabrics, and it worked really well on fresh stains like coffee and sauce. It was easy to apply and didn’t leave any strong chemical smell, which I appreciated. I also liked that it didn’t discolor my clothes. However, it struggled with older, set-in stains, even after multiple treatments. The bottle design can also be a bit messy if you’re not careful when squeezing it out. Overall, it’s a reliable product for everyday spills, but not a miracle worker for tougher stains. Still worth keeping on hand.
