PRINCE2 Study Guide: Update for PRINCE2 7 Project Management (Orgtopia Certification Study Guide)

While you'll need the official AXELOS manual to take the Practitioner exam, this guide made all of the difference in preparing me to pass the Practitioner exam. It really helps bring the material to life, providing a ton of real world examples. The writing style is easy to read, unlike the official manual, and the digital flashcards that come with the book are wonderful! The bonus practice exams and questions at the end of each chapter really helped me get into the mindset of how the concepts are being applied in the exams. Cannot recommend this book enough!

This book is so much easier to understand than the official Prince2 Manual. It gives good examples that you can relate too and some hints on how to use the official manual. It covers everything in great detail so your not missing out on anything. I find myself turning to this now when I am stuck on a question and think I might actually stand a chance of passing the exams with the help of this book. My only criticism is that the additional tools are no good if you have an apple mac. Maybe the author needs to upgrade them.

I liked the overall content. I have to retake the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam to stay current and need to score over 85% as an instructor. David has done a good job explaining the how & why details of using PRINCE2. The biggest challenge is understanding the project manager simply coordinates and reports to the project board. The project board holds all the authority. Why this is standard "product-based" management to some the concept is new to junior members of the project team.

This was the only material I referred for my foundation exam and passed with flying colors, more than 90% with around 3 weeks of study. The study material is well designed and organized and easy to understand. The practice exams and additional study materials very useful. I would highly recommend this to anyone willing to seriously prepare for the accreditation exam.

I picked up this title following the purchase of the official manual and passing the Prince2 exams title. Between them it was all the study I needed for both exams, following up with some practice exams at the APGM site. The study guide presents the information in a different format and level of detail to the manual which gave me a strong grasp of concepts, some of which I hadn't picked up on in the first read through of the manual. It also provides guidance on how to prepare and manage yourself during the exam. It boosted my confidence and I'd highly recommend anyone studying for the exams picks this up at to supplement their learning.

Hello, I passed the PRINCE2 Foundation exam and became certified thanks to this book by David Hinde and the PRINCE2 Foundation course by GreyCampus on Udemy's website. I first took the Udemy course, watching about 30 minutes per day. Then I read this book. I read about a half a chapter a night over the course of a few weeks and took the quizzes at the end of each chapter. Then I took the full practice test. I returned to the Udemy course, letting it play in the background while I did other things at work and at home. That let the information sink in. From start to finish, it was a three and a half month process. Obviously, I took my time. I generally do with certification exams because I want to pass on the first try. Others knock it out in a week or two. Between the course, the book, and the quizzes, I felt pretty confident I would pass the foundation exam. And I did. Since the Practitioner material is also covered in the book and the course, I plan to take that certification exam as well. But I’m not as confident as it goes deeper than Foundation. I’m going to purchase the official PRINCE2 Manual since test takers are allowed to use that book during the exam.

A bit too detail. Only for those who need to understand more on Prince2 practices. It has lots of diagram that good in bringing you to understand the process flow to Tailor your project.
