The TBK-568 is a solid performer when it comes to separating fused glass and digitizers—especially on iPads and tablets with stubborn adhesive. The heating plate warms up fast and holds a steady temp, which is critical for avoiding LCD damage during teardown. I used it on a 9th Gen iPad with a cracked digitizer, and the adhesive softened evenly across the panel. The footprint is compact enough for mobile tech benches, and the dual-voltage support (110V/220V) makes it travel-friendly. It doesn’t have a built-in vacuum or clamps, so pairing it with a good suction tool or pry kit is a must. The surface area handles most tablets and even some small notebooks. If you’re doing frequent screen repairs—especially on Apple gear—this station is a dependable workhorse. Just be sure to prep your tools and take your time on the lift.

This works very well for removing the screen from tablets and other mobile devices. It’s well made and has some good features like legs to keep out of contact with your table top and possibly damaging it. The heat control is nice too cutting the heater off before the set temperature and allowing it to “coast” up to the proper temperature and not over shoot it. I’m very happy with this heating system and recommend it.

I was surprised at how well it heats up evenly to remove screens from ipads. The (but...) I was disappointed that it came with no instructions for setting the temperature, the temperature settings are in celsius, had to look up the conversion table for farenheit. It has chinese above the screen, I'm in USA, if it wasn't for the buttons I would be lost. The other (but...) is the packaging, the box was intact but upon opening it all styrofoam blocks and the unit wasn't packaged in any plastic for protecting against styrofroam dust. Upon examing the unit, very well designed. We'll see how it goes.

This is a heating pad for softening up the adhesive that holds the screens and backs in place on most phones and tablets. The adhesive has to be softened up in order to remove the sealed backs and most models of cell phone and tablet screens for the purpose of replacing the screen and/or batteries on sealed units.
