Game Boy Advance Micro Silver

This is a cool gameboy but doesn't live up to the potental it had, that is becuase it was released after the DS phat, so why would people buy the worse product of the two ( gameboy micro ) , they knew not many games would now be made foy the gameboy plus it wasn't even backwards playable!!! ( can't play gameboy original or color games ) so the people still with color or original games couldn't use it to it's full!!! It's a awsome system don't get me wrong but nintendo made a bad desition that's all, though they later said that it was only a backup system for if the DS didn't sell. The gameboy advance micro is a great system and is the last type of gameboy made and I think you should buy it!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this item. It shows wear from it being a used item, but it works wonderfully. Ordering a new face plate is easy (see fresh plate applied in picture with case). Great battery life and ULTIMATE portability. Buy one if your a GBA fanatic.

When I first got the Gameboy Micro it did turn on and work however the thing refuses to charge even with a new battery installed. The charging port is damaged and can’t even open it up to look at it internally because one of the screws is striped and refuses to come loose.

What was I thinking ordering this? The Game Boy Micro is kind of a needless device. It's tiny, to the point that you strain your eyes to even see what's on the screen. You thought old cell phone screens were small? You know, those old flip phones. Well this is smaller! Yea! It's very awkward to hold especially if you have big hands like myself. It's uncomfortable after about 15 minutes. You're much better off with a GBA SP. On the plus side, it's extremely portable, has a very good battery life, and has replaceable faceplates. The benefit of the latter is if the screen gets scratched you can easily replace it with another (provided you can find one).The screen is also very vibrant and as far as colors goes, looks even better than the GBA SP. But at what cost? I'm all for portability, in fact I play my portable systems (GBA, DS, 3DS) much more frequently than console nowadays but this is just too damn small. During the time I was writing this review I really trying to think outside the box and come up with some reason to justify getting one of these outside of being a collector. I made the mistake of buying, not realizing just how small this thing really was. But hey if you want it go for it. Don't say I didn't warn you though.

Don't get me wrong I loved the price value and the speedy delivery for my shipped Collectible Item though I could have been notified about how warn out the buttons are and the grim inside the face plate (which it wasn't too bad took me 5 minutes to clean up) and around the crevasses of the buttons around the system in which case I would have labeled it as used and not collectible, BUT over all I did enjoy how the physical quality and condition of the system thus the reason for the rating keep up the good work, and I look forward to purchasing from you again.

This is just a miniature device for playing Gameboy Advance games. To some that might sound pointless, but if you don't have your old Advance lying around or you happen to want a tiny, pocket-sized device, then this is for you. It's not anything other than what it claims to be: a tiny game boy advance. I love the size and the portability. I bought it to play Pokemon Leaf Green and it is great. I can play the game entirely with only one hand and it slips into my pocket when I'm on the go. If you want a tiny GB Advance and you don't mind the price tag, then go for it. However, if you think it is too expensive or "pointless" then save your money. There are cheaper options out there, such as buying a used GB Advance SP, but no other handheld system offers such a sleek and tiny package.

I waited 8 days for gameboy micro and was excited to get it .but once i opened it i didnt get the extra faceplates it says in the details, audio doesn't work , not only scratched but beat like a tossed phone and it also has something going on with charging so i cant play a game.

Worked really fine. Brought me back to the old days with my games.
