2nd version should be 5 stars - skipped a step
A good figure, should have been better.Figure on own with out any equipment looks good, has good range of movement, and decent paint application. Hits nearly all the nostalgia marks your looking for, unless you want it to wear its equipment.The original classified version(s) that came with the flight pods (regular and python patrol version) could both have their backpack worn with their vest on. Where this version can not with out modifications.If you want to keep the figure in package for a wall display its probably 4 to 5 star figure.Main problem is the vest is badly designed for the body.The hole in the back for the backpack does not line up with the vest, so character needs to have vest removed in order to have his gear equiped, or have his back pack anywhere but on his back.I guess a work around would be to cut a new hole in the vest where the hole on the back of the figure is to fit the backpack peg into, or cut the peg off the backpack and glue the backpack to the vest. Just seems dumb to have to do this for a feature that should be functional from the start, or should not be included if they are not going to do it properly.Not sure how this is happening, in this century, back in the 1980s some sort of quaility control would have at least tested that the backpack could be fitted on the figure properly before sending the item into production.
