I recently started doing diamond paintings, and I found that since some kits come with bags of beads that are not resealable, it becomes necessary to have some sort of storage method for the beads while they are in use so they don't get spilled everywhere. I ordered this storage set to facilitate that. The labels are great, and the lids on the strips of bead containers do snap and seal securely...I have even dropped them and have had no incidences of them popping open and spilling out. It's a good quality set of storage boxes with secure latches on the bigger cases that store the strips, as well. The only thing I wish I could change (and I wasn't clear on this before I ordered) is that I wish each container was separate rather than being attached to each other in strips of four. Diamond painting beads are coded with DMC color code numbers so that it's universal from one kit to another. Since different kits use different colors, I'd like to be able to rearrange the ones I have in numerical order as I get new kits, but I can't do that without transferring beads around to different containers because I can't insert 315 between 314 and 316 since they are attached to each other. As a result, I keep transferring the beads from case to case and relabeling them in order to keep them in numerical order when I add new colors to the case. Besides that, though, this was a good value and included a sufficient number of cases to store lots of colors at one time. I'm really pleased with the set overall, it's of good quality, and I feel like it was a good value. The 4 large storage cases even came in a ziploc slider bag to keep them together. Perfect!

Very pleased. I bought this to keep my HotFix gems sorted in. When you get 5 sizes of gem in one color in a package, it can be hard to know exactly how many of each size you have, so it’s useful to separate them. But when that order has 9 colors, that means you need 45 different containers for just those 9 colors, and you really don’t want your collection to take up a lot of room either. This set is perfect for giving each size a separately opening container (meaning less spilled when accidents happen and easy transfer of one size/color at a time if you want to reorganize) for lots of sizes/colors in a compact, consolidated space. The boxes are the rigid but bendable plastic needed for flexible hinges that don’t use a pin system. The bag is simple construction of a sturdy fiber strand embedded in plastic “fabric”, and when the boxes are stored there’s enough space left over to store a few tools or even one of the little 10 chambered boxes with the blue latch. They also store flat so would stack nicely if you had enough colors to need more than one set. If I found a down side to this little set up, it’s that the 7 rows of boxes are just SLIGHTLY too large for the big box. I have, on occasion, opened a big box and had one of the smaller lids popped up. Is this because I didn’t make sure I “clicked” the little lid shut well enough before putting it away or because the tight hinge to clip fit actually popped it open somehow? I don’t expect it to be a problem either way, storage wise, as when the big box is latched shut it seems to keep the little boxes’ lids closed too, but when taking a little box out, I think I would be wise to check all the lids. Cleaning up 300 tiny 2mm gems dumped all over the table and floor is not my idea of fun. All that said, I’m thrilled with my purchase. It’s doing exactly what I bought it for and seems like it will be a durable solution to my diliema 😃.

These were received in a timely manner. I love having the extra boxes so I can set up different diamond art paintings as I have two grandchildren that works on their own stuff when they are visiting. The only reason I gave it 4 stars USA couple of the individual cases after opening and closing a lot don’t latch tight. I have dropped them and the drills fall out of them. I solved that by always putting them back in the case when not in use. So far those latches have held up well. I set up my drills in the boxes before working on a new canvas. It makes it very easy to get to the drills. After finishing it makes it easy to store the drills in plastic ziplock bags

These little boxes are a GAME CHANGER for anyone who is serious about their 5d Diamond Painting projects. They keep all of your diamonds neatly separated, have lids that snap shut so that even if they should accidentally tip over, your diamonds won't spill out everywhere, and they are easy to pop open to dip your tool in to grab a couple of diamonds without having to dump them all out in a tray when you just need a few at a time for one small area. In addition to these boxes, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a package of Avery Removable Labels 0.5 x 0.75 Inches. They are the perfect size to fit right on top of the lids to label the different colors. They will stay on for the duration of your project, but can be easily removed when you are done so that your boxes stay neat and clean for your next creation. I would definitely say this is a worthwhile investment for a new diamond artist (me). It's effective, convenient, and not a big investment. I luckily could fit all my diamonds in each bin though it was close on one! My one issue would be the lids pop up sometimes or get lose. Because I only pull out one row at a time (or if I only need a few, I pull out a few with my finger) and open one box, it's fine for me. The bigger case keeps them closed and secure. I don't take it anywhere so I can't comment on how well they stay closed on movement.

Works as expected

Four 28 slot storage boxes, 400 stickers, and a zipper storage bag. I am very pleased. I already had a box like these that came with a light pad so I alredy knew I liked this style. They are plenty durable for storing diamond painting drills but you do want to make sure to snap them individual slots shut when you are done using it. The bag holds the four nicely and zips shut. There is enough room in there you could also store your small tools and trays if you wanted. The bag is like cotton mesh coated in plastic with a really nice and workable zipper. I didn't realize I wanted a nice bag for these until I ordered this so very happy with the whole purchase! I would recommend it. EDIT: I came back and ordered two more after writing my review so that should tell you how much I loved it!

The durability on these feel flimsy, as when you try to open the small container it sometimes HARD to open so I use my teeth and it works, I fee if I slide my hands to try to open it, I wil either break the lid open and my diamond fall out, or my diamond fall out... but over all this product is awesome all my diamond are stored and it’s easy with the labels as well. It makes diamond painting much much more enjoyable!
