Gorgeous artwork throughout and very interesting.

Saw the movie two days ago and immediately had to buy the art book, I never fell in love with a movie’s visuals as much as spiderverse, I bought this to give me inspiration for my own art and to have a grasp of the concepts used in the animation. It’s a dense book filled with gorgeous art, and reading through the commentary about the animation made me appreciate the immense effort put into the project more and the love put into creating Miles as a superhero. Theres a lot of material discussing story, backgrounds to initial character designs, and the world setting. Honestly worth every penny. Highly recommend especially if you’re an artist of any kind, its given me a load of inspiration to keep working hard :)

Theres a few weeks wait on one of these, but the wait is worth it. This book is amazing, showcasing all the art from the film, leaving no character or scene out. It features some short but informative pieces of information from the art team and directors, which give a small view into the thoughts of the crew when designing certain character and other behind the scenes inputs. I think the book could have had more on the writing front, but its only a small criticism, since the info you get is good enough. a must have for all, even if its just for your coffee table or something, build well also btw, hardback with dustsleeve.

This book is absolutely beautiful and is well worth the money. When it arrived i was wandering what i had ordered as it is a lot bigger and heavier than what i thought, the dust cover is beautiful and every single page is such great quality, there are beautiful foldouts of some of the animatics for each scene. I bought this because this is what i hope to do in the future so these books are extremely helpful for character studies :)

The art in this book is beautiful with great insight into the art of the film. The book itself initially displays minor damage with only the dust cover having a small nick on the spines corner. (photo 1) Looking inside, there is minor damage of some pages towards the end as they too have a small nick on the bottom. Nothing that affects the reading of the book but it is still noticeable. (photo 2, 3) There is one of the expandable pages in the book with major damage. On the fold of the page is a large cut leading towards the top, the small connection between each side is very fragile. The other expandable pages do not display this same damage. The damage of this one page does not affect the reading of the book but if the damaged half were to be completely cut off then it would be easy to lose causing 18 pieces of art for the movie unviewable. (photo 4) Overall the book is in acceptable condition with only one major problem.

Huge spiderverse fan, and was waiting for this book to come back into stock for ages. Managed to see it was back in stock at like 4am randomly, but had a 1-3 month delivery. But arrived in less than a week! A great purchase for any Spiderman fan. A MUST purchase for any fan of animation, highly recommend for animation students!

Mon fils collectionne les livre "the art of the movie". Il est complet, les dessins sont superbes, de nombreuses explications sur la réalisation du film ... Je le recommande à tous les fans de Spiderman ou d'animation.

I bought Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – The Art of the Movie for my daughter, who is interested in studying animation, and she absolutely loved it. The book is visually stunning and incredibly detailed. It includes concept art, character designs, and behind-the-scenes explanations that really show the creative process behind the movie. I am falling in love with this book the artworks are just breathtaking,all the character sketches the mood boards all of them provides us with the information of what is going on in the artist's mind and the writer's mind while making this movie the build quality fo the cover and the pages are super durable and pleasant to touch love the book would recommend to everyone
