Keyport Pen Insert

I have this pen in my keys at all times and I have used it many times. It’s so handy, doesn’t leak or cause a mess. It’s a tiny bit awkward in the hand but that’s to be expected with how small it is.

Whenever Keyport comes out with a new intuitive product, I am always an early adopter. I've been using a Keyport Slide for almost a decade now and have come to rely on their products' durability, reliability and usefulness. Not to mention, their customer service is top notch! The new Keyport mini-pen is not a new idea, although it has been updated and in my opinion perfected. Once installed, it slides out and in very easily and seems incredibly durable and high quality. It writes perfectly with no splotches, and the ink comes out right away. (see video for demonstration) Also, since it's so light, it doesn't add any noticeable weight to your Slide. I'm looking forward to see what products Keyport releases next!

It is slim, portable, easy to fold. But when grabbing it to write, it requires extra effort. So it is relatively difficult to hold firm when writing.

Very handy to have on you at all times. Can barely notice it and is there when you need it.

I really like how this allows me to keep a pen with me at all times without actually having to carry yet another item. I've got both the Keyport Slide and Pivot, and the fact that this allows me to have a pen with either setup is great. From a minimalist perspective being able to carry as little as possible is a big win for me, but not having a pen on me sometimes can be inconvenient. One thing I will say, if you are using this in the Keyport Slide, the entire thing can be a little top-heavy so when you're using it you'll just need to make sure you're balancing the entire thing for a stable writing experience. Other than that I love that I can actually put in refills for this as opposed to having to get an entirely new one when the ink runs out. Very thoughtful design.

Wrote my first name and then it quit working. Almost unusibly small, and I have small hands. Not just gargage, but hot garbage, and expensive hot garbage. Slow to write due to lack of ink and small size, not at all durable since my first name has six, count 'em, six letters in it. If I could choose 0 stars I would. Exceptinally disaponted in the quality and duribility. These are duds. Avoid.

I never liked carrying a pen or other forms of writing with me for long periods of time. They tend to either prick holes or smudge my pants. This offers a good solution and a way to keep it on me without it making a mess.

I ordered this to organize my keys. The product arrived and yes, I did watch the setup video and registered the “If Lost” information. However, when I put the product together making sure that everything was aligned as instructed and started to tighten the “male” pin or screw and it stopped moving and would not tighten. I called the company’s customer service, not helpful. The service person almost immediately stated that the issues was my fault, I started the screw out of alignment thus striping the “female” pin. The service person had me send a picture of the product and they confirmed that it was my fault, saying something close to paraphrasing of course: “The “male” pin is at an angle, and it looks like you may have too many keys or very close to it. 5 keys plus the tool are a bit much, and some of your keys are thick.” My main issue is I don’t feel I did anything wrong, and it the pin or screw does not tighten all the way how do I have too many keys? Anyway not happy with the product.
