I was a bit sceptical but this is hands down the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time from Amazon. Initially bought it so I can do car editing videos and it’s brilliant, stabilisation is so so good, the face/object tracking is brilliant too and follows the object well with its 180° turn, well impressed!! There’s two apps to download, first one is the configuration to connect the gimbal and info on it etc and second is the actual camera/video/ editing app which is brilliant with some great specs included that you wouldn’t have with basic iPhone camera. Holds the phone brilliant- mines quite large and could fit bigger. For £59 definitely worth the money, quite a bargain in all fairness with all the features available and templates to help make videos etc. it’s not heavy- quite lightweight but very durable and feels more expensive than it’s worth. Came fully charged aswell and battery life so far is great. Overall exceeded my expectations! Can definitely recommend!

Brilliant little gadget. DJI products always feel high end and good quality and this is no exception. . I quite often do videos for my work using a drone and I wanted one of these to give another perspective but with the smoothness and stability that just holding a phone can sometimes lack. This gimble is really good quality, very smooth and just a great addition to the video quality. Has several settings that give you best quality for the type of filming you are doing, little joystick gives really good controls and the stability generated is very good. The tracker on this is very much good enough when you have the DJI Mimo app so I didn’t feel the need to spend more on one with separate tracker built in. Magnetic holder clips to phone and then magnetically to the gimble so easy to remove and store yet very sturdy and fixed when attached. Also has extendable stand so you can film remotely and track yourself or another object as you move or walk in front from distance.

Overall does the job, but I find that it pivots my phone slightly out of plane. Tried calibration and still doing it.

I wanted something I could use when out and about or for when I’m at my desk. It’s really easy to use and well designed. I’ve only had a quick play just to see if it was what I wanted, it’s better than expected. Well worth the money. Love all the extra functions that are available when connected to the app, tutorials and editing. My favourite feature is the tracking. It’s fairly compact when folded and fits nicely in my handbag. The video quality for me was great but I think that would depend on your own phone. I was a little nervous at first when having to pull the arm out to open it and set it up, I was terrified I’d break it, but now I’ve done it a few times it’s easier and not as terrifying. 100% recommend for anyone who likes to record and or vlog.

Very impressed with the Osmo Mobile 7. Setup is quick, the stabilisation is excellent, and tracking works smoothly. Makes handheld video look professional, even when walking. Compact, reliable and excellent battery life – ideal for travel and content creation. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my daughter. She is really pleased with it. She says the build quality seems really good and the battery life is pretty much as advertised. She has found it easy to grip, lightweight, and the ease of use means she has pretty much mastered the functionality and camera support within very little time.

says its compatible with xiaomi ultra series (the ones with the large circular camera array) so bought it, It in no way is compatible with either the 14 or 15, the device is too weighted on one side so get unbalanced warning constantly the device itself within minutes started running hot. probably a sound device if you have a generic run of the mill shaped phone but DJI need to check compatibility more robustly as the 14/15 ultra should never have listed as compatible

Was mir besonders gefällt (Positiv): • Verarbeitung & Design: Wie auf meinen Bildern zu sehen, fühlt sich das Gerät sehr wertig an. Der Grauton sieht edel aus und das Material ist griffig. • Magnetische Klemme: Das Anbringen des Smartphones geht extrem schnell. Das "OM"-Logo auf der Klemme hilft bei der Ausrichtung. • Kompaktheit: Zusammengeklappt passt der Gimbal problemlos in die Jackentasche oder in den mitgelieferten Beutel. Perfekt für unterwegs. • Stabilisierung & Tracking: Die ActiveTrack-Funktion wurde spürbar verbessert. Das Tracking von Personen (selbst bei schnellen Bewegungen) funktioniert unglaublich präzise. Die Aufnahmen sind butterweich. • Integrierter Verlängerungsstab: Ein Feature, das ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Es ermöglicht viel bessere Winkel für Selfies oder bodennahe Aufnahmen (Low-Angle Shots). Was man beachten sollte (Neutral/Negativ): • App: Die DJI Mimo App ist mächtig, aber manchmal etwas überladen. Android-Nutzer müssen die App oft direkt über die DJI-Seite laden (APK), was etwas umständlich sein kann. • Akku: Der Akku hält gut durch (ca. 6 Stunden bei mir), ist aber fest verbaut. Man kann ihn also nicht mal eben schnell wechseln. Fazit: Wer viel mit dem Smartphone filmt und professionelle Ergebnisse ohne Wackler möchte, kommt am Osmo Mobile 7 kaum vorbei. Der Preis ist zwar gehoben, aber für die gebotene Technik und Software-Features absolut gerechtfertigt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I have old Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Plus phone which still works flawlessly with any app or environment. It is 2021 model with stock Android 12 (not upgradable OTA anymore). I was always planned to use a gimbal, but last year I finally tried. Started with Osmo Mobile 3. I really liked it, but it has two major flaws: 1. The grip was almost impossible to fit. I am using Otter case which makes the phone very wide. It is still (barely) within 84 mm spec of the Osmo 3, but the design of the grip makes it very hard to set, always touches the power button and if moved away - unbalances the gimbal. 2. The axis movement - I am not sure how's possible DJI as a company selling drones to design such a totally counter-intuitive axis joystick control! I am not a pilot, but have used many RC controllers and am an old gamer – when you pull the rudder (joystick) – you expect to get your nose up and vise versa… well – it’s the OPPOSITE! Same as horizontal controls. There were numerous threads with users begging DJI to correct the SW to include simple axis inversion, but all in vain for Osmo 3! Those were the reasons I sold it and decided to try Osmo Mobile 7 with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 + Plus. Well – well worth the switch! So far all is good: – grip is very strong and the shape of jaws is much better, not overlapping the power button and at the same time very strong! - axis inversion – yippee (!!!) - finally, I can actually control the gimble! - so far, all the functions, menus and features seem to work as intended on the gimbal and the phone - absolutely no delay or glitching in any mode, including 4K video. In short – I am very satisfied with the product and its backward compatibility with old hardware and software! Good job, DJI!
