Great for Plumbing Fixtures Without Ruining the Finish
Great for Plumbing Fixtures Without Ruining the Finish I picked these up specifically for working on bathtub fixtures where I needed some grip but did not want to scar up the shiny finish with regular pliers. For that kind of job, these worked great. The soft jaw covers gave me enough grip to turn the parts I was working on, and they did it without leaving bite marks or scratches behind. What I like most is that they fill a very specific need in the toolbox. Regular channel locks are more aggressive, but these are much better when you are dealing with chrome or other finished plumbing parts that you want to keep looking nice. The built in spring also makes them easier to use one handed, and the adjustment range is useful for different fixture sizes. These are not miracle pliers for every situation. If something is seized extremely tight, you still may need a different approach. But for normal plumbing work where protecting the finish matters, they do exactly what I wanted them to do. For bathtub trim, faucet parts, and similar fixtures, these were a very handy tool to have. They seem durable and are a good value for the money. You can't crank on something with them, but I feel they will hold up well over time.

Does the job well
Quality tool overall. Rubber on pliers can move, but can be put back. Product works quite well.

Good product
high quality. the soft jaws seem sturdy. i did glue them onto the steel jaws with silicone glue so that i did not lose them in the tool box. can grasp a kitchen faucet aerator small) or much larger diameters too

not for intended use but worked perfectly
Got these to help remove spa jets. Worked really well, jaws were soft enough to not scratch the plastic but strong enough to grip and turn

save the finish
These are great pliers. There are so many cases where I'd like to use regular pliers, but the metal teeth will damage the finish. I used to wrap tape around the teeth, but that only worked a few times before the teeth cut through. The plastic on these pliers is durable and are engineered to be replaced if needed. I've used these on faucets, crimping gutter guards, etc without any complaints. A great add to the toolkit!

No grip handle
Tsunoda almost had a winner with these. I got them because of good reviews and reports on YouTube about this brand and these specifically. The jaws have soft inserts that are friction fit and I expect will slide or pop out easily during use. The major strike against these is the grip material. The yellow grips are made of a material with no texture whatsoever and they feel slick and with sweaty hands you’ll have trouble holding them. Some other pliers brands use this same slippery material but there’s too many tool companies getting it right to accept it being wrong. I’m just gonna look for a better option. The metallurgy and overall quality seems good it’s just the design that seems to not be well thought out in my opinion

The rubber grip makes the difference!!!
I have been very happy with this tool. The rubber grip allows you to grab lots of stuff that you may not be able to get a good grip on due to where the pipe is located or its surface texture, all while providing extra leverage on turning the pipe. I have even used it to open a tight lid on a jar. Price is good, delivery was fast, comfortable to work with, and I would buy this again.

Tool doesn’t work
The tool definitely will not mar the fittings. However, the rubber covers for the plier jaws is so soft and ill fitting, you cannot actually grip the fitting to tighten or loosen it.

Great for plumbing fixtures
These are great! At first I thought the rubber grips wouldn't be adequate to remove these seized on threaded chrome extensions - but it gripped very well and removed them without damage! These are Zucchetti shower flow controls that I did NOT want to damage for a valve replacement. I could not get them off without this tool. The build quality is nice as well. I'm very happy with them!

Not as good as I was hoping
These pliers looked like they would be just the ticket for working with taps and other items that need force without scratching/damaging them. However they have a very large jaw opening which limits their usefulness.
