Does this product actually WORK? Looking to get better reception from my smartphone while hunting and camping

Sometimes it seems to me the signal is better but the majority of the time it's not. I don't think it wirks as good as described and like you I was just hoping for somethin c to work. Rooting the phone worked best.

Can this work for a house with a metal roof

I live in a mobile home with a sheet metal roof and aluminum siding. Plus I am surrounded by similar homes. I placed my booster/repeater on the glass in my kitchen window, which has a better line-of-sight to the cell towers... my neighbors house isn't blocking it. You want to put it on the side of the house that faces the cell tower and on a high window. This will not work if installed on your roof. Before I installed mine, I had poor reception. I could place calls, but would often drop the signal. I could not say that it gave me more bars, but it eliminated the dropped calls and made my phone more dependable. I have been using mine for nearly five years.

Can this product be installed over window tinting or does it have to be installed directly on the window to work (for correct capacitance coupling)?

Works better if you remove the tint but it will work though tint… with less gain…

Can you mount on the front windshield?
