The 4k video quality was superb and the Dolby Atmos was flawless , a must have to your Library

One of the classic movies from the 1980s finally makes it onto 4K and the transfer is really well done. Unlike Cameron's other transfers, mostly that of True Lies and T2, the AI scaling is not bad here. The film still retains some of its grain look and it looks and sounds awesome. Only complain is the lack of features. Some nice behind the scenes but nothing new.

I am incredibly happy with this one. The terminator is one of my favorite movies and I know it in and out. However, I just had the standard dvd version. Recently got a UHD player and have been replacing some of my favorites. This one looks REAL good. The majority of the movie takes place at night and overall low lighting conditions, and even then it looks phenomenal. It looks like it was originally recorded in full HD - there is minimal graininess compared to other 4K movies from the era I’ve gotten (ST III). I’ve seen detail that I’ve never been able to pick up on before - the scene where Sarah bites Kyle, he has a bite scar on his hand the rest of the scene. Never seen that. Nor the terminator shead a tear when taking out his eye. I wish all the 80s movies looked this good.

Terminator es de mis películas favoritas y esta version en 4k UHD por el momento es la edición definitiva que todo coleccionista debe tener. La remasterisación en 4k es muy buena, conserva el granulado fílmico y nivel de detalle de la imagen es magnífico, si tienes un teatro en casa el sonido envolvente te dejará sorprendido con su increíble calidad y sus potentes sonidos bajos, sin duda valió la pena la compra.

This is now the definitive version of Terminator it is just the almost near perfect release of Dolbyvision & Atmos, yes it includes the original soundtrack for the first time but to me it sounded anemic compared to the Atmos but I understand some of the sound effects have been changed with the 5.1 track and I didn't care for the sound of the weapons such as Schwarzenegger's long-slide 45 cal. it just sounded weird but other than that the Atmos track was more immersive and powerful. Now for what is just a thing of beauty the video is awesome for the first time the blacks are deep and inky which causes the Dolbyvision to explode with visual colors unlike any version you have seen before, this cannot be understated the visuals in this release are amazing, clarity is still there as is a fine grain layer, not as chunky as in past releases and you will be shocked when Arnold walks up to 3 men to steal their clothing they might have to elevate this to an X-rating I don't think they ever intended to show that much of Arnold but with this new AI technology used to correct film flaws it's really brought out the detail in this film. The fatal flaw in this release is the extra's or the lack of extra's what you get was on the DVD and nothing new has been offered but don't let that sway your decision this 4k is superior to what was projected on the big screen so grab this while there are still slipcovers you won't regret it!
