Best drone for family who care most about speed and ease of use
I am not sure why people dont like this drone from a few reviews? This by far is the easiest best flying drone I have every used, I added clips 2 make the propeller rings connect together, Maybe that is the difference maker? I have flown it in wind and no problems at all. The drone fly's fantastic, is easy to use, If you want to get great videos not spend all day setting up your drone for that quick shot, but also still use the drone with a remote at times? For an average family that wants great high res video and pictures, I am not sure you can beat it? A great Value for the money, very durable, also will follow you around without a remote. The flymore is the way to go, you get alot of battery life, and with a 100 watt charger ( Extra Purchase on Amazon) takes very little time to charge them.

The Ultimate Creative Tool
The DJI Flip Fly More Combo is easily the best "lifestyle" drone of 2026. I upgraded for the unique folding guard design, which makes it safe to fly indoors or close to people without sacrificing pro-level specs. The 1/1.3-inch sensor delivers stunning 4K/60fps HDR footage that matches much larger drones. The DJI RC 2 remote is a game changer—no more fumbling with phone cables, and the screen is crystal clear in direct sun. The integrated guards are tough; I’ve bumped into walls with zero damage to the props or the drone. You get three batteries, which is essential since the guards add a bit of weight and reduce flight time to about 25 minutes. Final Verdict If you want a drone that's portable, safe, and shoots high-end video, this is the combo to get. It’s the perfect balance of fun and professional quality.

Great starter drone!
Great starter drone. I use it to record my dogs a lot. I’ve had it for 4 months as a first time drone owner, it still does more than I have even tried to get it to. I enjoy flying it, but it has a ton of intelligent features. The follow me was what I got it for, but it has a ton more modes. This is not a wind safe drone and be sure to get the fly more package, otherwise going somewhere to fly is just a waste of time, as I usually like to spend a battery flying around and walking to find the shots I want! This does not have remote id (you can get a module and it flies just fine with it (holy stone)), if you are using it for commercial use in the US, that is something you will want to note. For recreational, it is under the required weight to have to register it. Setup out of box to fly was super easy. I love the portability of it. Overall great starter drone for the money. Have survived a few crashes (small tiny branch that was just sticking out) and it does a great job surviving those falls. Get the RC2 controller! So much better than using a phone or the controller without a built in screen Video is shot in dlog 4k 60 fps, edited in fcp by applying DJI flip LUT (free download from DJI) and color correcting with color wheels. This takes about 10 minutes and I’m sure there is a free tool out there to do this. I just do it for work, so the video is a quick cut just using color correction so you can see the basic quality of the video from the drone you can get! Dlog is the way to film for highest quality!

Awesome Unit
This is an awesome drone. Comes with so many built in features plus flies very well in manual mode. The Fly More Combo adds lots of value to the experience with extra batteries, a charging port and nice case to store everything nicely. I'm still learning all the features but right out of the box it is very easy to fly. The propeller guides don't appear to hinder its performance. It can be flown without controllers, through a phone app or using the RC2 controller. I've flown it both indoors and outside with better than expected results. It does not have 360 degree obstruction avoidance so you have to be careful when flying around obstacles. DJI is the go to brand for drones.

Video quality, ease of flying and safety + modes!
One of the best little drones I’ve seen and used, the price point is amazing, great battery life, the video quality is amazing and really clear especially for cinematic shots, the flight video is smooth no jitters or anything, you can set the maximum altitude, a lot of features, noise level is kinda loud but manageable and it has safety features built in however keep in mind that using it in sport mode disables those safety features but for normal and cinematic flying it’s safe as the sensors will halt the drone if it gets too ckose to any objects such as a house, a vehicle, fence etc! 5/5 stars!

Flies great
Pros: This drone is amazing. I’ve had it for at least 2 or 3 weeks and it has flown as I hoped it would. The camera is great it takes amazing videos and photos. It’s quick and responsive when using the joysticks and releasing the joysticks. Obstacle avoidance feature is wonderful as well. I’ve come pretty close to things. I have not tested the range on this so I cannot comment on that. All of the extra features without the remote or the phone work great as well such as the follow me mode which I’ve used on the skateboard and it does keep up. I personally think it flies great at night and it takes great night photos and videos as well. I do also have a DJI phantom. I love that the flip is small enough, but not too small. Like anything with a propeller or prop it’s going to make noise however this drone is fairly quieter than most Cons: Battery. I will test this again, however when I tested it before I was lucky enough to get 16 to 20 minutes on the battery before it got to roughly around 30%. It could also just be me as well whereas I could be using different settings. I have yet to see 31 minutes of flight time per battery. At the moment, I honestly can’t think of anything else that is negative.

Excellent first time drone or for vlogging or vacation, very safe to use.
Amazing first time drone. My wife and I both have one and go flying with each other. Perfect for fun or capturing pretty good 4k for vacation, vlogging, or anything where open blades are discouraged. Easy to fly indoors as well without having to worry about slicing open furniture or walls with open props.

Avoid if you value your safety, privacy, and sanity.
I've waited years for drone technology to mature before getting my first drone. It's been about 15-20 years now that consumer drone tech has been widely available, and when looking for products to buy, DJI was the gold standard, I was told. How disappointing. - Extremely greedy and invasive privacy and content ownership practices: they basically acknowledge they will take as much data from you as possible and distribute it as they please, and that they own content you upload, etc. - You can't setup the drone without an internet connection, which is ridiculous and also invasive. It requires access to your network so obviously the CCP is quietly collecting these router logins. Make sure you use a guest Wi-Fi and change the password after activation if for some strange reason you still insist on buying this product. - Can't fly drone without GNSS. I tried to fly the drone in my basement but it wouldn't let me. You need GNSS for this to work, which makes no sense. GNSS isn't required for flight -- it just let's the drone use satellites to determine it's relative position on Earth. It's like buying a car that won't let you drive it unless you have a GPS signal. You don't need a GPS to drive, you just need the engine and a steering wheel and an accelerator pedal. It's just a silly requirement they tacked on to force you to give up your geolocation. Again, obviously this is about collecting location on millions of customers around the world. Super invasive and creepy. - The overall build quality is mid-low. Feels like they probably paid $10-25 dollars for the manufacture of this device which they then sell for $700+ USD. Very greedy. - The overall UX is horrible. Like wow, just wow. DJI apparently has zero UX talent. The controller layout is poor and the choice of joysticks and button placements and controller shape and screen position is all really bad -- they would have been better off just copying an XBOX controller for most of it. - the screen is on the controller in between your hands, so you have to hold the remote really close to your face to see well, so you end up operating the device in a cramped position with your hands near your face, arms scrunched by your sides, it's not good for your spine, your scapula, your wrists, your neck. Who thought this made sense??? - the software UI shows way too much information and doesn't tell you what that information is. Way too cluttered, way too much at once, no easy way to find out what things mean. - placement of buttons on the drone itself are where a user would naturally grab with their hands when picking up a drone, so you're constantly pressing buttons by accident on the drone. TERRIBLE placement of those buttons. - Nonstandard design patterns that provide no value and just add confusion. Consider what one usually does to turn on a device: one presses the 'on' or 'power' button, or in some cases, it's a press-and-hold. DJI decided that neither was sufficient, so to turn on the drone and to turn on the remote controller you need to both press, then press-and-hold for it to turn on. Why?! What meaningful need was there to create a new gesture pattern? If they are concerned about it being turned on accidentally in someone's bag, press-and-hold is sufficient. Why both? This only adds confusion as to how to turn on (and off) the device and provides no practical UX benefit. - Unreliable software: The drone kept complaining about storage being full, but the UI said it was basically empty. I added an SD card, first to the controller, which did nothing, and then to the drone itself, which registered it but the UI still showed the 'Storage full' warning. There was nothing I could do to get it to recognize the storage wasn't full, but at least it actually did save the videos I took eventually. - I can't speak to the maneuverability or performance of the drone compared to others because this is the only one I've ever really used. But I can speak to the mindbogglingly bad UX, the invasive privacy practices, and the overflowing greed emanating from every crevice of this device, so despite the fact that I very much need a drone, I'll definitely be steering far away from this one.
