DJI O4 Air Unit Pro

The image quality is just amazing, compared to other HD FPV systems, I also find the range to be much better compared to some of the other systems, this is my first time using the DJI FPV system and I definitely don't regret the change so far, at least for my style of flying, these are great. The downside is when you get a signal loss, its very disconcerting when the image goes static, other systems which break up the image you can still roughly see where you are. This has to be the worst part of the system but the penetration is so good that the image break up is much rarer. If you are after a high quality image in both the goggles and the DVR which is very close to an action cam without the additional weight then this is the system for you. I know the race mode is supposed to bring down the latency but it also brings down the image quality so I’ve not used/required this mode yet.

Upgrading from Caddx Vista and DJI 03 air units. The 04 is a great step up from the 03 when flying in sunrise or sunset lighting. The 03 sucks in anything other than great light - the Caddx Vista is good with a Nebula Pro camera, or a Polar Starlight camera in near pitch black lighting but the 04 is better overall across the lighting range. Been flying quads for 13 years or so, from Analogue through to 04. I might just buy another one to pop in another frame.

the goat in FPV transitions systems. I've knocked a star off for the camera size as it doesn't fit into a lot of older frames, but for what you are getting it is worth the pain, nothing else compares to the quality

I've used several of these since they came out on various FPV projects. Until early 2026 they were excellent. Rock solid stabilisation, amazing range and image quality. Unfortunately, whether it's due to the chip shortage or for some other reason, DJI changed the gyro chip that's used by the O4 Pro in early 2026, to the same unit found on the cheaper O4, which is far more severely affected by any vibration in the mounting. I've done back to back tests with a 2025 O4 pro and a 2026 O4 pro with the new gyro, and the difference is night and day, the 2026 version with the new gyro is unusable on many quadcopter frames, and DJI support are worse than useless. If you want an O4, the only way to get one currently with the older but infinitely better MP66 gyro is to either track one down second hand from 2025, or thankfully Flywoo are selling brand new O4 Pro units on which they've desoldered the new gyro and retrofitted the old one (no warranty support from DJI obviously so any warranty support is handled through Flywoo). I ended up returning both of the O4 Pros I bought recently and buying two of these retrofitted units, which are fantastic, exactly like the O4 Pro used to be before DJI ruined it. They also sell the lens module with the old gyro, so if you already have one of the defective-by-design 2026 O4 Pros and don't want to return it that's an option. It's just such a tragic own goal. DJI had an amazing product, but if you want to get actually usable stabilised footage from it the only way to achieve that for most frames you could be mounting it in is by purchasing a retrofitted unit from another manufacturer.

Según tarda casi medio año en llegar, pero soy de México (Guanajuato) y me quise arriesgar, son tiempos estimados según logística, el producto llegó bien, solo un poco golpeada la caja, pero todo bien.

Fonctionne super bien avec mon drone de 2,5 pouces. Transmission vidéo stable et image superbe!

Excepto el precio, que es carísima, ¡qué voy a contar! Es una pasada por calidad de imagen, latencia, ancho de banda, grabación …. Y no es tan delicada como me temía: en mi CineLog 30 se ha llevado ya algún golpe y, por ahora solo te tenido que cambiar una antena y el cable MIPI.
