Great smelling (thank you maker of this) and works well. It does wear off faster than my pain patch but the same relief.

Mess free, pleasant smell for night time use. I have sciatica issues, and at night they tend to cause me pain if I've been on my feet all day and it's nice that I can use this at night and it doesn't have as strong of an odor as a regular icy hot.
