Perfection…
We have become a soda stream preference household. We can adjust our bubbles and flavors to our preference at a lower price point and with less added sugar! We are very stuck on our carbonated drinks so I researched the adapters and got us one from here with the best reviews and we got a bigger co2 bottle from Growsource (our local hydroponic and garden supply center, the trade in for filled is $16 which lasts a month with excessive use) so the value for the total cost is huge. Finding code red was a game changer. Now they just need to make lightening, Baja blast, and another energy option- the other popular flavor profile. Seriously, the flavor is on point! Can also be used for super light flavoring of carbonated water or carefully mixed with sugar to flavor it for use in a cotton candy machine- the cool moms make Code Red Mt Dew cotton candy and yes those low low priced commercial machines on here work very well to make said cotton candy with this syrup. My 9 year old also recommends trying it.

Less than buying cans!
Love these. I’ve been looking for code red zero and could never find it in the grocery store. This is a great alternative. You can adjust it to taste as well.

Surprisingly Good
Surprisingly good. The flavor is very close to Mountain Dew Zero and hits that citrus kick without being too sweet. Easy to mix and a great option if you want Dew at home without the sugar. I’ll definitely keep this one stocked.

Water flavor on the go as well.
Works as a water flavor with a caffeine kick as well. Good for camping. No need to pack both water and bottles of soda, never sure how many of each you need. Tastes like flat soda. If your hiking and carrying a bottle of soda to sip your drinking flat soda anyway, so you can have the dew taste anywhere. At home use machine, out anywhere use as water flavor. Bonus.

Tastes great if you use more syrup than recommended.
For the Mtn Dew Zero Sugar, the bottle says to only fill the measuring cap to the middle line and to not go above that. If you disregard that and use the top line, yes it will actually taste just like the real thing. I'm not sure about why the directions state that, yet there's a clearly marked 'extra sweetness' on the top line of the cap. Using it as per the directions the taste was pretty watered down. Using the top line in the measuring cap, perfecto. That said, it won't last as long as it states due to using more than it also states to, so there's that. Overall though for the price of the syrups, it's not a deal breaker for me.

Great taste
I'm a big fan of code red. One issue though is that the normal has a lot of sugar so it's not the greatest for me or my teeth. This zero sugar version though is great in that it doesn't have that problem. It's sodastream so pretty standard use: you take your water bottle, carbonate it, measure out the flavoring in its cap, and add that to the bottle. I compared the suggested amount vs two liters and found it's a good value for the money if you don't overflavor. Taste is good for the flavor as well. Would recommend.
