I love using this product, It’s about half the cost of a Shelly 1pm which I would consider to be an equal product. I have actually had more issues with my Shelly devices over the long run than I have with any of my SwitchBot devices. With the price and reliability I’ll always pick this product.

The SwitchBot 1PM is a handy device for automating tasks like turning external lights on at sunset and off after a set time. It fits easily inside a standard junction box and works reliably for daily use. Setup is simple, though including a few jumper wires would make installation even smoother.

It works, and it's good. Small, real Matter support. Better than Tuya things. The only problem is that it takes time to open the light from the app, because the guys who developed the app block your control until it gets the electric consumption. So don't get the P model, unless you really care about knowing the kWh usage. Also, this supports 1 switch only, so be aware that if you need to control more than one switch, choose the other ones..

I used this relay to make my pool lights smart and it works flawlessly, even inside the metal enclosure that contains all my the pool wiring and breakers. My router says the wifi signal is very weak, but this relay still works like a champ inside this closed metal enclosure and enduring Florida’s heat! This device is so great and reliable that now I am looking into other SwitchBot products for my smart home. If you are curious: I replaced the wired Intermatic manual pool lights controller with this little relay, not connected to any switch at all. This means that now I control the lights only using the app or HomeKit.

Setup was pretty easy, as long as you understand how electricity works. Just be sure to isolate the SW wires (switch wires) as the phantom voltage/current can cause the switch sensor to trigger. If there a multiple switch gangs make sure the relay isn’t close to the other switches and keep the SW wires short. Most important turn off the circuit breaker before installing!

Purchased these to install in an office renovation behind blank wall plates. They were easy to wire and set up with the SwitchBot app. After the initial setup, I was also able to add them to my Home Assistant instance using Matter with ease. They can now be controlled by both the SwitchBot app and directly via Home Assistant. The only feature I would like to see in the future is passing the power management feature to Home Assistant. This data is currently only accessible via the SwitchBot app.

I’ve used several smart relays, but the SwitchBot 1PM stands out for its compact size and the accuracy of its power monitoring. It was small enough to fit into my existing wall box behind the toggle switch without a struggle. The Standout Features: Power Monitoring: The real-time data and historical charts in the app are fantastic. I’m using it to monitor my washing machine, and I’ve set an automation to notify me when the power draw drops—meaning the cycle is done! Safety First: It feels very well-built and includes overload protection, which gives me peace of mind for higher-draw appliances. Ecosystem Integration: As with most SwitchBot gear, it paired instantly. If you have the Hub 2, getting this into Apple Home via Matter is a game-changer. It has turned a "dumb" appliance into a fully automated part of my home. Highly recommended for anyone comfortable with a bit of wiring!

I purchased this to connect to a contactor to shut off my water pump. I paired this with the battery powered switch bot water switches. It works excellent and the price is right. The support between other platforms opens many possibilities. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these.

I have used various brands of smart relays with mixed results. Some have been a real pain to set up but this one took a few minutes. The software was easily updated and the relay connected to my Alexa App without any issues unlike some other brands I have used. Highly recommended.

Ich sag's mal so. Die Firmware ist nicht zu vergleichen mit nem Shelly, aber da sind so RX/TX/GND/EN/3v3 Lötstellen auf der PCB ;-) Es erfüllt trotzdem seien Zweck, aber da geht mehr ! ;-)
