This is spot on the best replacement product on the market right now for Xbox controllers. My controller grips came off the original and it was all beat up when I put the new one on. It was literally just like a brand new controller. The tools worked perfectly. It is very durable if not better than the original. It was great value for replacement part to feel is just of that as the original it fits perfectly. Everything provided was pretty straightforward and worked just as they needed to and now I have a few extra tools to throw in the toolbox as well.

Amazing, easy to install

The side rubber started coming off my original controller not long after warranty was over. When I found this I was excited and hopeful. The most difficult part is opening the controller. After that, watching the video, pausing as you go, rewinding a bit, this was a relatively easy fix. All the needed tools supplied with the kit! I’d recommend this one for anyone instead of buying a new controller.

Looks great and the installation was easy. It came with tools that helped install the shell onto the controller. The tools are flimsy but got the job done. This shell looks very similar to the OEM shell. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because the rubber grips feel like a cheaper material and may break in a few months.

This was a perfect fit on the OEM Xbox Elite 2 controller. It came with all the replacement parts and tools needed to swap everything over. The texture matches the original to a T! The instructional video provided is a great step by step, making it so anyone can do this install!

If you use Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers, you know they literally start falling apart after 6-12 months of regular use. This kit was everything I hoped it would be when I ordered it. Now, with both the new shell and a fresh battery, my expensive controller is good as new. This shell swap was definitely worth the effort, not just for the improved grips but also for uncovering and addressing the battery issue. Highly recommended for anyone facing similar wear and tear on their Elite Controller 2!

Pros: looks very good, feels like the original when new, somewhat simple repair, grips feel good, fit as intended Cons: PRICE- - not worth the $60+ considering the top shell is NOT the same as the original lacking the “battle damage” effects as well PRICE pt2 - - there’s uneven rubber on the grips assuming from the mold at the factory, unacceptable for price ESPECIALLY since they aren’t providing new magnets or screws or anything the other (from the same company) kits come with. Color matching of the rings that go where the sticks are is off, the new rings are darker Color matching of the darker green bits on the top shell are the wrong color. Just take a very close look at the pictures.

This was a perfect fit/price replacement shell I purchased to address a fault with the silicon swelling grips. The shell itself is made from high quality plastic and features a matt finish. The tabs are flexible and won’t snap, having opened and closed mine on multiple occasions. The shell material is far superior to the OEM design, which to my horror fractured and snapped when I ran the thinnest prising plastic tool along the seam to split it open. The screw bits are very very soft and will round off before the screws, make sure to have a small driver set before you start.

Arrive just now, had the old case off in 5 minutes and the new top (only) as the bottom case was fine, fit like glove New case on the left, old top case on the right plus broken bits from inside the controller. Looks and feels brand new
