Best controller for Moto Z family.
I love this controller. I have the Moto Z4 as soon as I got my phone I bought this controller bad to play my games. It works amazingly and is well worth the money. If you are looking into buying this and you play games a lot i would by it. How ever this Controller does not charge your phone while it is connected. If you want it to charge while playing it you can plug it in with a C charger cable.

Works great love it when I'm on breaks at work or if I'm bored somewhere the only problem I find with it not a lot of games work with it Rockstar games work really well the call of duty's does not work and a lot of other ones but still worth the mone there are lots of games that does work on it

Solid, a must for any gamer.
It works well. My son has dropped it a couple times and no issues. I wish the built in battery was bigger, but overall it's very cool and fun. He hasn't complained once about it. The shoulder buttons need a better design, they are hard to hit separately from each other.

Amazing battery life!
I tried out the Moto Z Fore and this Moto mod from a friend and was instantly hooked. The gamepad is responsive. I've thus far had no problems using it with many of the popular software you would use this for. The battery life is insane. Mine is still going on it's first charge, and I'm pretty sure I've clocked close to ten hours here and there on it. When you attach this to your Z Force, a separate power icon will appear showing how much battery the Gamepad has left. It doesn't feel like a cheaper piece of junk to me. I have had no issues with the joy sticks that I'd seen other people complaining about. If I had any real gripe, it would be that I don't like how slim profile the front shoulder buttons are. I have big fingers, so sometimes it can be a little tricky to hit them without getting some of the rear shoulders. With how slim the mod is it's understandable. Most of the programs I'm using seem to dedicate those buttons to functions I don't really need.

Moto gamepad mod fun and great buy!
It has a dedicated headphone jack and bumper and trigger buttons too! L2 & L1 : R1 & R2) I really like the grip on the analog sticks!(see pic) plus it has a dedicated home screen button(below left cursor button), the XYBA buttons are a bit clicky but feel tactile, overall a final great buy! The LED lights and back logo are bonus.

Over-priced, expected better.
$70 is a fairly premium price for a controller. Your average name brand wireless controller will run you about $45. A third party Bluetooth controller that will hold your phone seems cost about $20-30. This gamepad does not feel premium. The main advantage the Moto Gamepad has over others is the magnetic connection and made-to-fit design. And that's about it. Just about everything else about this controller feels terribly cheap.Major complaints:- Face (A/B/X/Y) and D-Pad buttons all feel stiff and have far too much travel. Start/Select buttons are particularly hard to press. Low profile, quick-to-actuate buttons would have been ideal.- Face buttons are VERY small and cramped close together. Uncomfortable to use over time.Other observations:- Not sure why the manufacturer went with more standard control sticks over the flattened analogs like those of the PSP or 3DS. The mod itself is fairly thin, I'd rather have a thicker unit with flatter analogs if it were more comfortable to hold.- Symmetrical analogs over face buttons and D-Pad, like the WiiU. Again, why? Just about any other layout would have been preferable.- The shoulder buttons have small LEDs that flash every time you press a button on the corresponding side. Thankfully, the first thing the tutorial teaches you is how to turn this feature off. It seems to serve no purpose other than to drain the internal battery.Pros:- The mod itself - the matte slab of plastic - feels sturdy enough in the hand.- Plug-and-play. No setup required as long as your games/applications are already set up to take controller inputs.- Magnets hold the phone firmly in place. I was never worried about it falling out.I've had $20 controllers that felt better than this thing. I understand that there was a requirement to keep everything within a small form factor, and the internal wiring might be a lot more complex than other controllers I've tried in order to maintain compatibility. That said, I cannot imagine how the magnetic connection makes this priced so high. It's a shame, the idea of a moto mod gamepad seems great, but this doesn't feel worth it, not when similar products cost less than half as much for what look like a much more comfortable experience.

Good quality!
Only complaint is the RT, LT, RB, and LB buttons are pretty small and closer together, but it is an excellent remote! Made it possible for my hubby to play fortnite on his cell better. Feels nice and sturdy and works perfectly.
User
Yes you can use it for PUBG, but you shouldn't.
Look, it's a good product in of itself. But once you have it you will discover that THERE ARE NO GOOD GAMES TO PLAY FOR IT. Motorollas lineup of games they support without having to use sketchy chineese apps is a joke. ATTENTION PUBG PLAYERS: You can be banned for using those aferomentioned third party apps. Do not bother with this gimmiky thing untill Moto puts out some real support for it.

Great device for Moto Z phones
I'm using this with my Moto Z Force Droid phone. Fits like a glove and works great for some games and almost all of my emulators. I do find that my hands get a little more tired using this moto mod vs a standard controller, but the cool / wow factor when showing friends and family is worth a little bit of hand strain. Highly recommended for playing retro games / emulators with your Moto Z.

Great Moto Mod
Works great with my Moto Z2 Play phone. If you enjoy mobile gaming and use gamepads on other platforms (consoles, PCs, etc) then this product is for you.

Buen producto.
Es un buen producto y funciona bien, sin embargo, ya casi no hay juegos compatibles para usar el mando, debido a que están descontinuados por la tienda de Motorola, solo tengo el motomod para la colección.
