Works so well and prevents damage

I’m not sure I love this heat protectant. Lemme explain. First of all, it is totally unscented. Which I don’t mind! I’m picky about fragrance so that alone isn’t a problem. But it also comes out as a suuuuuper fine mist when applied. Again: not a bad thing. But it’s almost hard to figure out where the spray is going. It’s on my hands, the floor, my hair but maybe not where I want it. Did I get adequate coverage? It’s anyone’s guess. When you are spraying damp hair with a non scented, light as air, watery mist…it’s hard to tell if it’s doing anything. I wouldn’t call it moisturizing or nourishing or conditioning. It’s just…wet lol. I think it makes my hair a bit easier to comb through but it’s hard to tell. And at this price point, it’s hard to justify. The bottle is nice and I like the cap design. But I dunno if it’s worth it to me. Quick note about heat protectants in general: don’t straighten your hair while damp 🤣 EVEN with this spray. Wait till your hair is dry before styling to avoid mega damage.

Hairstory is not talked about enough! These products are made for hair ! Once you use it you’re going to see the difference! I have a shag cut & this primer and the air dry leave in are a perfect match to get the hair texture right!

I won't lie, this is hard to review. As others have mentioned. Its totally unscented and there's not a great way to tell if this is actually working or not. The spray nozzle works well and the oriduct comes out in a fine mist, but for all I know, this is water. Its sooo hard to know if this is doing anything. It doesn't feel any different in your hair after applied, there's no scent, there's no visual tell... just hard to review. I'll keep using it and trust it is doing what it says it claims, but i can't in fair conscious recommend this to someone confidently.

My first order arrived almost empty with the bag damp. I gave it a second try and ordered again - the product seems to make my hair feel a bit brittle after a blowdry, very different from what it claims.

This is a great spray to protect your hair from the heat elements. It also helps with detangling & moisturizing your hair and shielding your hair from humidity. It can protect your hair in temps up to 450°. One bottle contains 8 fluid ounces. This product definitely is a good primer to use before you style your hair to achieve that optimal look. It is safe to use on processed hair and is vegan and cruelty free. Also, it is free of parabens, detergents, silicones and alcohol. To use, simply spray on dry or damp hair. And then use your fingers to distribute the spray evenly in your hair before styling.

Love what it does to my very fine but freezy hair. Smoothes it really well.
