Full Width at Last!
This Hikenture Full XL is a great sleeping pad, better than a few more expensive ones I have had. It is the width of a full-sized bed, plenty long to stretch out on, and actually weighs less and packs smaller than those narrower, shorter, pricier pads I mentioned. It is super comfortable, the 4" depth is plenty to avoid bottoming out on hard ground. The horizontal baffles keep it from tilting up on the sides with bodies in the center. The fabric is a very attractive navy with a bit of shimmer. The pumpsack is a fabulous idea and I appreciate having the choice of a pumpsack or a foot pump. I have other pads with foot pumps. I prefer the sack because it so simple - nothing extra inside the pad to go wrong. Rolling down an air bag is easier for me than balancing on one foot while staying centered and stomping with the other. And, since the valves these days are one-way, it is easy to take a break (with either system) at any time, also a big improvement over days of yore. I have found absolutely no cons to report with this lovely Hikenture Double Sleeping Pad for Camping, 4" Extra-Thick Camping Mattress 2 Person, Inflatable & Ultralight Sleeping Mat for Backpacking, Hiking (Navy Pumpsack, Full XL)

Compact for camping
Overall I’m satisfied with the product. It inflates fast with a pump. One time our pump broke, so we had to inflate it with the build in foot pump, which worked surprisingly very well. There been no issues with the mattress leaking. It deflates easily and rolls up back into its bag very easily. It’s so compact, which is why I picked this product over a traditional air mattress. Is it as comfortable as an air mattress? No… but I wasn’t expecting it to be. It still lifts you off the ground enough while being light weight. The quality seems great. No issue in the two years of use and I expect it to last a while!

Good Quality for the Price, but not Premium Gear
For the price, this is very good quality. It worked well for our starter backpacking setup before we could afford to upgrade to higher-quality gear. Here are some things to consider, which would be fixed with higher-quality (and higher priced) gear: It doesn’t quite fit in our tent. Most backpacking tents are tapered toward the feet to save weight, but since this sleeping pad isn’t tapered, it presses against the edge of the tent at the bottom end. It is not insulated. We took this out on some cold (about 40° F) nights, and we were pretty chilly. It can be difficult to fully close the air valve. We woke up on the ground a couple of times because we had failed to fully close the valve. This is definitely user error, but it was frustrating when we thought for sure it was closed, then struggled in the dark to re-inflate. If you are just getting started, this is a pretty comfortable and compact design that I would definitely recommend. However, if you’re looking for something that is high-quality and will be your long-term backpacking setup, then you’ll have to spend the extra money on a premium sleeping pad.

Does not lose air!
Not only was this sleeping mat easy to set up and break down, but also this is the ONLY air mattress that we have EVER used that didn't lose air overnight!! And it comfortably slept 2 people! Highly recommend!

Love this LIGHTWEIGHT sleeping pad
I love this product! First let me say I’m an avid backpacker... let me also say I’m going to be 51 this year and honestly the 1.5” thermarest sleeping pad I’ve been using for the last 20+ years is not doing the job for me anymore after 12-16 mile days! So I’m experienced- a lover of hiking gear- and this product rocks. Pros: lightweight! (Same size thermarest will run you over 9 lbs, this is under 4... it’s also almost one inch thicker!) which were my main concerns comfort and weight. Great for couples that don’t want a ridge between you. I love the flexibility of using its own air inflating bag (which brilliantly it stores/packs in!) or using a battery/electric/or plug in inflater which in my opinion is worth a little extra weight... and if car camping who cares about weight! Also it fits my 2 person North Face Stormbreak 2 perfect and will fit most 2 person tents awesome as well. The thickness is almost 4” and I’m 5’9 160#, my guy 6’ 215# and neither of us hit the ground either together or separately! The price was excellent in my opinion. You can use this in your tent, kids sleepover, it’s very comfortable. It packs up quite small. Potential Cons: I’ll have to see how it holds up to frequent use... thermarest really does make an amazing product and I’ve had the best luck with them- they last forever. I’m hard on my equipment and this material will need to prove itself- it looks like it just might! Using the bag... it is 20- 25 bags or air and takes some time (8-10min) but a great option... as for me if I have the room and don’t mind the weight I’ll use my inflator. I think Hikeventure has a great product here and I’m very likely to check out what else they have/come up with! I’ll give it 4.5 stars for now and will re-review after a year of beating it up or it gives out- whichever comes first!

Very comfortable
Not wanting to lug my Coleman queen size high mattress and the batteries anymore I was looking for a relatively inexpensive lightweight air mattress for car camping and the occasional short buggy ride to our camping spot. This fits the bill. I purchased the full size so it is a bit smaller than our former mattress but works for the two of us. We are 6’ and 200 lbs and 5’8” and 150 lbs. Not sure if it would be comfortable for our 5 night music fest I did bring the Coleman just in case. We never used the Coleman. The first night we made it too firm so let some air out and perfect. The nights were either very hot or warm so I can’t say about cold nights. I actually use a quilted mattress cover and sheet to help prevent the cold issues associated with air mattresses (Your body loses heat to the air in the mattress and you can’t get warm even on warm nights). This also prevents the noise people complain about when using a nylon sleeping bag on a nylon air mattress. My fixes obviously will not work for backpacking but will for car camping. As for quality so far so good. No leaking air. As for inflating and deflating, it’s ok. Inflating/deflating takes some time compared to a battery pump and it’s turn on and good to go. For this mattress You either have to leave the “pump” bag attached to the mattress and try to fill the bag with air by waving it back and forth ( not that easy when attached) or unattach it and take it outside to fill it by the breeze or wave it and attach it again and again. Keeping it attached I could maybe fill the bag a third of the way and it took probably 15 to 20 tries to fill it. Filling the bag with air would obviously reduce that quite a bit. As for deflating it it’s pretty easy, you have to push the air out by rolling the mattress a couple of times. It folds up easy and either fits in the air pump bag or the regular storage bag or both. For me the only less than 5 star rating would be for ease of inflating. But otherwise it’s a pump and batteries (yuck) or an expensive self inflating mat.

It's all about the snuggles
I've been camping all my life and had lots of pads over the years. One thing I dislike about sleeping on individual pads in individual sleeping bags is the impracticality of snuggling with my sweetheart when we camp together. With the snuggle problem in mind I bought this double pad and have not been disappointed. It's the perfect size to fill the bottom of my 2.5 person tent. It's super comfortable and does away with the troublesome gulf between me and my partner. This is the first pad I've ever had that I can comfortably sleep on my side without bruising my hips and shoulders. For that matter it's also great for sleeping on your back, face down, on your hands and knees, or even one on top of the other. I was worried that it might be too crinkly/noisy but it's actually fairly quiet even if the snuggling gets energetic. The fact that it fits tightly in the bottom of the tent means that it can't slide around under you or get out of place if you toss and turn like we tend to do, a lot. My only complaint is the inflation routine. For best effect you really need to take your shoes and socks off and pump it with your bare feet. At first it's a little strange but you get used to it. It seems to take forever before it's rigid enough to sit on though. I tried using my hands instead, but it didn't seem to work as well. It's so big that trying to blow it up with your mouth would be quite a challenge. Anyway, it's a great pad and I can verify that the company stands by their lifetime guarantee. The first one I ordered had a defect and had a slow leak after I used it a few times. It was over a year after I bought it when I emailed the supplier, and they sent me a new one at no charge. So far it performs exactly as I desired. I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

Lightweight, easy to inflate, but could not stay inflated.
I bought this for my boyfriend and I to use at a camping festival. I tested the sleeping pad before we left and all seemed well--it inflated very quickly (we have a small battery-powered pump which got the job done in less than 2 minutes). We arrived at the festival Thursday night and set up camp. Since weight wasn't a concern, I brought thick, interlocking foam mats (think home gym flooring) to put under the sleeping pad for comfort and protection. The sleeping pad once again inflated quickly, and we fell asleep comfortably. By the next morning, the pad was noticeably squishier. We spent no time in the tent during the day, and when we got back from the festival that night, it had deflated even more. Not wanting to disturb our neighbors with the pump, we slept on it anyway, and woke up on our foam mats, barely any air remaining. We re-inflated it Saturday morning, and I searched for the leak to patch it, but was unsuccessful. By the time we packed up camp on Monday morning, the pad had mostly deflated again. My boyfriend and I weigh less than 280lbs combined, and the sleeping pad was not used on rough ground or taken backpacking/exposed to the elements. I'm not sure whether we got a defective product, but I can't imagine our handling of it was the issue. I loved the size and weight of the sleeping pad and it was VERY comfortable while it was inflated. I had hoped to take it car and festival camping again, but I'll be looking for another option.

Great mattress. Excellent customer service
I'm glad I found this mattress and it has made backcountry camping much more enjoyable! I have another air mattresses (Klimit) that, unfortunately, isn't all that comfortable for a side-sleeper like me. I thought it was just as good as I could expect from an air mattress:(. My wife wanted a wider mattress for her and our toddler and we found hikenture mattress. As soon as I tested it out, I knew it would be better than anything else I've tried. The mattress is a bit more 'lofty' than others, produces less noise when shuffling around, and feels much more comfortable for side-sleeping. ...So, I bought two so that all of us could sleep on this. After a few camping trips, I'm very satisfied with the comfort of these mattresses. A better night's sleep makes a hug difference! The packing size of this double mattress is proportionally bigger than most single mattresses, but still acceptably compact for our backpack. Inflating the mattress is easy, ...once you figure out how to do it;). It seems it takes just a bit of practice to figure out how to inflate the bag and squeeze the air into the mattress. I find that rolling the bag tires out my wrists pretty quickly and now I squeeze the bag with my thighs to quickly and easily push the air into the mattress. I can now inflate the mattress within a minute (or so). Customer service has also been excellent. On our last canoe trip of the season, we unfortunately had a slow leak in one of our mattresses:(. When I returned home, I noticed that Hiketure had a 'trouble free lifetime replacement' policy. I reached out to Hikenture and they got back to me quickly and asked me to confirm the leak with video footage. As soon as I sent them the video (I found a pin-hole leak on one of the ends), they initiated a replacement of the mattress through amazon and I got it next day! Wow. That's great service and I'm now even happier with our decision to go with this mattress.

So compact
This is an amazing air mattress. It stayed inflated for 6 days of camping w little to no air loss. My sleeping bag takes up more space than this! We used a battery powered air pump but did try the bag that comes with it and it worked fine too. Next time we'll just use the airbag it comes with instead of bringing a battery pump. Highly recommend
