The Astrologer's Handbook (Harperresource Book)

I was recommended this book years ago when first learning astrology and its been invaluable both for learning and as a referance book. I ordered this copy for my neice who has started learning astrology for those reasons.

An extremely useful book brilliantly and perceptively written. Can't work out what an aspect means - pick up this book. Want inspiration - pick up this book. A beginner - pick up this book . It is the most useful one you will buy. It will go on being the most useful too.

Really happy with the condition of this book. Have had a previous copy for nearly 30 years which is falling apart, so delighted to be able to replace it with a copy that's as good as new. Very Happy Customer

At first glance this book is unappealing, small text densely packed into a small format book - my first instinct was to return it. However, when I started to read I realised that there it contains information that I haven't seen in any other publication. Lots of information on aspects and transits but what's really interesting is that it starts with the very basics of astrology and how to manually draw a birth chart (something not included in many books nowadays as this can be done quickly with computer software). In addition it provides in depth analysis of sun sign characteristics and interpretation of planets in each house that I've not read before. Lots of new information to keep the reader interested in the subject. A book for everyone whether beginner or expert.

Excellent must have book for any budding astrologer. Well written, well sectioned book. Highly recommend.

I have been an astrologer for well over 20 years and this book was one of my first learning aids. For the beginner it's a good start, for the more experienced astrologer the book needs updating. For example, sun in the 12th house. Someone who lives their life in the background for example. New meaning, someone who dreams to live the neptune life of glamour.

It's a great book. It replaced an old one that had fallen to pieces.

This is not a new book. It has been out for a couple of decades... or more! But, it is still valid, still easy to use, and still a great astrology book for the beginner or the more advanced user who wants to know what information is contained in the chart. Offering well laid out and easily referenced information, this book will assist in interpreting everything from the overlay to the planets in their houses to how they all aspect each other, and more. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Astrology.
