I ordered the stereo specifically for 2007 Ford F150 when it came out of the box it connected directly to the factory connections in my truck. There was no wire splicing. It was 100% professional and even without an amp. It sounds amazing. I am absolutely glad I bought it. The stereo fit so well it is as if it was literally made for my truck. The holes lined up perfectly for installation. I couldn’t recommend more if you have an F150 no matter what serious system you have this stereo will connect flawlessly and even a beginner can do it.

True plug and play radio that fits perfectly without the need of a mount. No issues or lag with the radio or backup camera and super easy to use and connect. Video and sound quality is better than the factory radio and looks way better than the old cd player that came with the truck.

Started out working fine but random restarts are happening about 25 days after install. Install was easy and smooth looks nice. Just wish it consistently worked properly

I got this for my 2008 mercury sable and it works just fine. It truly is plug and play just a lot of wires 😅 the instructions can be a bit confusing at times, the colorful plug ins are labeled differently then it says on the instructions. I wish there would have been a tutorial video. Also when you have your car running for awhile the screen may get hot but I haven’t had any issues with it so far!

Overall great product. Clean, sharp look after installed. Came with back up camera. All but one function featured works properly.

The installation was super simple in a 2008 F250. All the connectors fit the stock head unit harnesses perfect. I ran the mic out the driver side of the dash under the steering wheel and up the side panel for great communication ability. The GPS antenna fit under the windshield in the middle nicely but had to get pretty aggressive with the connector end to fit between a couple pieces of plastic in the dash. I did not need the unit for videos or youtube so I cannot speak to that. However, if you treat it like a mobile device and you actual mobile device in hotspot mode, those features can work nicely. If you use the android auto feature (which is amazing) you may have to tweak your bluetooth settings a bit on your mobile device. I believe I had to change the connection type to car audio. The head unit works better playing music from mobile device through android auto app than it does straight from bluetooth mode on unit as it seems to drop audio periodically. Unfortunately, I cannot get the USB ports to recognize device for reading storage nor do the ports have enough output to charge my Google Pixel 8.

I installed this head unit in my 2007 Ford F-150. The overall install was easy, but I hit a snag with the reverse camera wiring. I spent a lot of time searching for the reverse trigger wire, the one that tells the head unit to switch to the camera view. I found a cable labeled "Reversing camera power supply 12V." The label makes it seem like its an output that sends 12V to the camera, which I didn't want as my camera is already drawing 12V power from the reverse light. After getting stuck for a couple of hours, I finally decided to go for it... and that wire actually was the trigger wire input I was looking for and not an output like it was labeled. While it worked for me, your setup might be different so I suggest you test the wire with a multimeter. FM radio works great, apple car play is great, and the backup camera works. The head unit is responsive enough if you are just using it for Car Play, but it is a bit slow overall. The processor is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 @1.12Ghz which is kind of an older slower one.

Totally awesome compared to junk stock Ford radio on 2005 F150. After about a month working very well. Its like a tablet but plays radio stations , mp3's, mp4's and in a very awesome way. My truck has a factory sub/amp and it integrated very well. I can run my OBDLink software and monitor my truck functions. The backup camera is big and much better than in my other cars. Highly recommend, if they have a kit for your car/truck get it. There is a learning curve with the software but well worth it. A+++ rating
