A great display if you know what you're looking for
Overall, this display is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend that anyone considering it understand the differences between QD-OLED (Samsung panels; most OLED monitors) and W-OLED (LG) panels. It is also worth learning about the differences between matte and glossy coatings and how they affect the image. The build quality is great; the stand goes together very easily and is extremely solid. It also offers a wide range of height and tilt adjustment. The light on the rear of the housing is a nice touch and has a good selection of colors. Since this is a W-OLED display, the blacks remain perfectly dark even in a bright room. Colors are as good as you'd expect. When the unit first powers on, expect to see some mild to moderate unevenness in the brightness of the image. My unit had some vertical banding which disappeared after a few hours of normal use and an image cleaning cycle. Do not worry if you see something similar on yours! It goes away quickly. Also, there is no discernible text fringing at all. Text does appear somewhat soft, but disabling ClearType in Windows completely fixes this. The image is plenty bright, and HDR content looks great. You can adjust the peak brightness in the settings, so if it seems dim then try that. It is definitely not as bright as a QD-OLED panel, but the perfect blacks make up for this. Keep in mind that bright elements that take up large parts of the screen will cause global dimming. This is normal behavior. The only complaint I have is that the matte coating is somewhat grainy. It is barely discernible at normal viewing distances, and with dynamic content it's even harder to spot; it is most noticeable on static bright pages. Use dark mode whenever you can (which is also good practice for OLED panels generally). For me, the lack of distracting reflections is well worth it. Consider your options carefully when picking an OLED display. There are trade-offs no matter what you choose. If you're looking for a 4K display with a fantastic refresh rate (and 480hz at 1080p!), and you know that the downsides won't be an issue for you, then this is one of your best options.

Great quality, as advertised, LG has amazing packaging team
As advertised looks great. Set up was simple. Built well. I have no complaints with the product. And LG does an amazing job packing there products. On the other hand, Amazon whoever packages the items to be shipped doesn't really seem to care about there job they just put the item in the much larger box and shipped it no padding or bubble wrap. But die to LG amazing packaging department the product made it here safely and in great shape so I have nothing to complain about. Edit I have had it for about a week or so and it runs beautifully. One of the most gorgeous monitors I have ever owned. The image it amazing. The speakers on it are honestly better then my headset. Really crisp and clear.

AMAZING QUALITY!!!
This monitor is absolutely stunning! I decided to upgrade my PS5 to the PS5 Pro, and I realized I might need to upgrade my monitor to fully experience the new console. I currently own an LG gaming monitor, so I was happy to invest in the brand again. I researched several models and chose this one. While it might be a bit much for the PS5 Pro, I am also preparing for the PS6's release, for which this monitor will be perfect. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and it even includes speakers, which is a great bonus for me as I enjoy watching movies without a headset. Overall, I am really enjoying this monitor. I am also looking forward to seeing its performance when connected to a PC and Xbox.

Perfect for my needs, some questionable reviews
There are some questionable reviews on this monitor. Iโve been using this monitor since early February. The only downside is even though itโs listed at dp 2.1 but it isnโt the full speed, requiring you to run it with DSC, which honestly hasnโt been an issue for me so far. People are saying the brightness is too low and I disagree completely. Iโm willing to bet they didnโt know about the peak brightness increase in the settings. This panel gets extremely bright and rivals the brightness of my lg c1 OLED at high peak brightness in hdr. Also someone mentioned a lack of panel care settings and I also disagree, as there are 4 different pixel shifting modes to choose from, panel cleaning when in sleep, and dimming when displaying static content for long periods of time. Someone also mentioned not being able to tell if the monitor was asleep due to no front light, but there is an led ambient light on the back is you choose to enable it that serves the exact purpose theyโre complaining about. If you can catch this monitor for $100+ off, itโs an insanely good panel. Impeccable response times, 480hz, bright hdr, amazing black levels, great build quality and stand, thereโs not much more I could ask for in a display. Iโve been enjoying games old and new on this panel at extremely high frame rates and I can never go back. 480hz feels like looking through a window, the motion clarity is something you have to see in person

LG False Advertising Display Port
LG is lying to you about Display Port 2.1 support. Yes it's been stated that it only supports UHBR13.5, but almost all implementations of UHBR13.5 negotiate at UHBR10 for compatibility. Including this monitors implementation. So there is TRULY no DP2.1 support on this monitor and they are false advertising. There is no scenario where UHBR13.5 will work with this monitor. Especially since DSC has to be enabled no matter what. With DSC you'll only use 22-24Gbps of bandwidth. Oddly making the HDMI 2.1 port the best option as it has 48Gbps bandwidth. Stop buying OLED monitors, and just get the 42" C5 or other TVs. Same price or lower, more features, same bandwidth, glossy, speakers, and built in media devices. This monitor is a scam. It's a rebrand of an older model with added USBC. That's all. Lies from LG means I will never buy anything from them again.

good image, broken firmware (won't wake up)
For nearly a grand, it's... fine. I would expect it to have been just a bit brighter. Not very many controls on it, even with the app. Easy to switch between the 240 and 480 hz operation with a button, but you have to remember to set it where you want it *before* you start the game, otherwise it get's confused and will likely mess up your settings. The image is good, no screen tearing or ghosting or anything, though games can still feel stuttery depending on your system and (more importantly) the coding for it. Now here's my real gripe. IT TAKES FOREVER TO WAKE UP. Half the time, I have to turn it off and on again manually. So firmware seems janky. This is why the 3 stars. For a grand, this is unacceptable.

Not perfect, but pretty damn good.
I tried 4 different OLED monitors, this was the best imo. The only downside is the screen coating(matte finish) is visible creating a bit of a "dirty effect" on white screen space. For gaming, videos, the monitor has been perfect, it's only when working with productivity apps that have large white space I notice the matte finish, BUUUT it's way better than the glossy screen OLEDs I tried, they were so reflective they were only useable in rooms with no other light sources. This is WOLED which for me is great, the QD-OLED monitor I tried really bothered my eyes, this LG and the glossy version I tried did not. The speakers are pretty mediocre but convenient if you don't have stand alone speakers and don't want to always have a headset on.

The epitome of monitor technology
The epitome of monitor technology. It's the perfect monitor guys. The blacks, the colors, the motion clarity, the 0 ghosting. Just wow. How does it get any better than this? OLED first timer here so. 480Hz is noticable, the smoothness. Maybe hardly noticable from a 360Hz but still counts. Colors might look a bit weird on default color settings, has a red tint. But once you change to 50 Red, 58 Green 58 Blue it's just perfect. I also keep my hues on 60 as well so the colors pop. You will never go back from OLED. I tried really hard to find out why this 'matte' coating is bad as people out there say but there is just no way. Okay maybe QD OLED might have 5% better colors and contrast it wouldn't really make a difference for me. The ASUS 480Hz or this or Sony one it's all the same thing. Just get the best deal out of them. For some a 240Hz OLED may be enough. But 480Hz just looks stunning for me. It's really personal preference to be able to notice such detail.

Beautiful colours
Great monitor. Refresh rate 480Hz works as advertised. OLED blacks very deep. Colours need some tuning out of the box but are beautiful once calibrated. G-sync works great. Minor VRR flicking but only occurs in a few situations and never during actual gameplay, usually just in menu screens. Very easy setup. Stand works amazing and is sturdy.

Rock On. 10/10.
Extraordinary monitor, this LG 32GX870A-B. (Coming from a Dell G3223Q which seemed very decent.) M4 Macbook Pro m4 chip, running that over the included USB-C. Powers my mac. Running my PC, 5080 RTX over the display port. Both lock rock solid 4k 240hz. i would buy it all over again. ! build quality is top shelf. beautiful stand too.
