Saw this on tv program and thought I’d give it ago. Wow it’s so smooth with a bite and I get a liquorice after taste.No added drinks needed, just sip and enjoy.

Low price and gets better by the glass
As my daughter would say ‘meh’.Never tried Irish Whiskey, thought this reviewed very well but I’m not massively impressed.Buffalo Trace bourbon is similar price by much more exciting to drink.Edit: a few days later - mmm mmmm. Much better. Avoid any water (I usually have a ‘splash’ to bring out flavours) and this is really rather nice now.Might need to get another bottle!!!

Irish with a kick
I like Irish whiskey as generally I find it smoother and more mellow which suits my taste. This Slane however is a much stronger / harsher flavour so, if that's what you prefer it's worth a try. I'll keep experimenting with Amazon as the prices and delivery are very favourable.

Morbido e piacevole, ma prezzo non corretto.
Sono passato agli "Irish" da qualche tempo e, dopo aver provato diversi prodotti, tutti dotati di forte personalità - proprio come il paese dal quale provengono - ho provato questo, attratto dalla descrizione e dal tipo di lavorazione. Mai scelta fu più felice! All'inizio forse un po' ruvido in bocca, ma piacevolmente complesso, aromatico e delicatamente dolce. Si accoppia molto bene con il cioccolato. Apprezzato da chi ama i whiskey non troppo secchi.Unica nota: l'errato calcolo del prezzo. La bottiglia costa 39,90 e tra parentesi riporta lo stesso prezzo al litro, facendo intendere che la bottiglia sia da litro, mentre invece è da 0,700 ml! Credo sia opportuno correggere. 4 stelle per il prezzo: forse un po' caro.

Disappointed with service
A teriffic whisky but the delivery from Amazon sux. Their driver lied that they couldn't deliver suggesting it was my fault. I was at home and there was no attempt to deliver.
