Decent substitute for Ames
This is a reasonable replacement for the smeg coffee pot, but it doesn’t fit quite as well as the real smeg coffee pot under the drip & the lid does not fit perfectly on top of the carafe.

Glass is extremely thin!
I just purchased this in September and for no reason the top of it and I rarely I just usually rinse it out, but I’m really careful but yesterday the whole top just crumbled like the glasses cheap and thin and I know the products not that expensive compared to the high-end for this coffee maker, but I’m pretty concerned that I’m gonna have to buy one every couple of months cause it’s not made correctly

Erfüllt perfekt ihren Zweck
Nachdem mir die originale Kanne meiner SMIC Kaffeemaschine leider heruntergefallen und zerbrochen ist, brauchte ich schnell passenden Ersatz und habe mich für diese Karaffe entschieden. Positiv ist ganz klar: Sie erfüllt ihren Zweck absolut zuverlässig. Die Kanne passt, funktioniert einwandfrei und macht genau das, was sie soll. Gerade wenn man einfach eine praktische Ersatzlösung sucht, kann man hier wirklich nicht viel falsch machen. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist für mich die Optik. Im Vergleich zur originalen Kanne passt sie nicht eins zu eins zur SMIC Kaffeemaschine, da der Griff beziehungsweise Halter grau ist und dadurch optisch etwas abweicht. Funktional gibt es allerdings wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden, weil sie genau das Problem gelöst hat und ihren Sinn vollkommen erfüllt. Wegen der kleinen optischen Abweichung gibt es von mir vier Sterne statt fünf – aber als Ersatzkanne definitiv empfehlenswert.

Well worth the wait!
I actually Prefer this to the glass one that came with my Smeg coffee machine. It’s lighter easier to clean and a fraction of the price of a Smeg replacement, that I still don’t know how it got a massive chip to the glass neck! Really well packaged and only wee gripe, it did take a couple of weeks to arrive, but, I thick it was imported from the USA, so I can live with that!
