Great if you're on a supplemental oxygen concentrator
I use a stationary oxygen concentrator at home with 50 ft. of tubing and a 7ft. cannula. It's often spread across the floor where it's in way for my family, me, and the dog. I purchased the item below on Amazon and it seems to be the solution. I can quickly wind or unwind the hose so it's out of the way when not needed. Price was reasonable and quality seems pretty good for plastic. Some tips on its use: - the interior of the wind up reel has two plastic hooks, one on each side of the reel. Mark the midpoint of your tubing with a piece of tape and loop the tube on the hook at the midpoint before winding. Since the two halves will now wind up simultaneously, guide them with your free hand while you wind. Doing this prevents the tubing from catching on the hook on the opposite side of the reel. The tubing only needs to be attached to the hook on one side to wind up. - since putting the midpoint of the tubing on the hook does cause it to kink, I do plan to buy a curved metal guide (often used for ropes) to prevent kinking at the midpoint. It provides a smooth kink-free path for the tubing and can be put around the plastic hook. - to unwind, hand pull out both halves the tubing together. I keep the half that connects to the concentrator plugged in, and the cannula end hanging on a hook I put on the concentrator.

100 Feet 12/3 AWG fits
Took a chance and YES it fits. I got the full 100 feet of 12/3 on it. You do have to fully extend the cord, take out the kinks and coils, and wrap the cord back and forth as you reel it up, but as you can see, it does work. The metal frame is nice. The footprint seems a little small when your trying to roll on so much cord, but hey, they didn't say to put 100 feet of 12/3 on there, so its my issue. For the price, I'm good!!

Good for light/medium duty cord
Assembly was very easy, with no tools required. After you snap together the two halves of the reel, make sure the black plastic nut that holds the halves together is secure. In my case, I had two 50โ heavy duty 12AWG extensions connected together - one bright yellow, the other bright red. As the picture shows, all 100โ fit on the reel, barely. A few observations: These extensions are much heavier than 14 or 16 AWG, Just one of the cords is pretty easy to handle, but with both, the reel gets pretty hard to turn, and it starts to feel flimsy, because the cord weighs more than the reel! Also, keep in mind that the connectors are not small, so connected extensions will take up reel capacity, that a single cord wonโt. Iโll probably use this reel for a single 100โ 16AWG extension, which is currently just coiled up. For the 12AWG extensions, Iโm going to have a separate reel for each of the 50โ cords. The only reason I bought 12AWG extensions was the fact that I have an electric de-thatcher, which pulls up to 13 amps. BOTTOM LINE: excellent choice for 14/16AWG extensions, particularly shorter lengths. Much sturdier than the โall plasticโ ones.

Cheapest cord reel I could find, accommodates 50+ft of pressure washer hose
I didn't want to buy a pressure washer hose reel because they are stupid expensive and massively overbuilt for my needs. It's quite possible the base will rust over time, but I'll be careful. I figured for $25, I can buy 7 of those before I get close to the cost of a "real" pressure washer hose reel. Rotation is surprisingly smooth and the base feels sturdy.

75' 12/3 cord; better than orange plastic reels, but some drawbacks
Trying to handle a heavy 75' 12/3 cord. Better than the orange plastic reels (from HD, Amazon, etc), so I'll keep this. Smaller diameter but wider side to side, so just barely fits. Would not be able to walk and reel it in like the orange ones, but worked reasonably when I laid the cord out on the driveway and put my foot on the reel stand before cranking the handle. Could not get cord onto the clips, so had to route out a side hole. Just a little larger with a larger clip would get this 5 stars.

Why didnโt I buy this sooner?
We have a couple of long electric cords in the garage. Invariable they end up in a tangled heap in the corner and then I get frustrated trying to unwind them when I need them. The design for this is simple. Plastic holder with metal base. Holes to clip the cord ends in to. Just wind and unwind. So quick, so easy. And the cables take up so much less space now, and you can just carry them anywhere. I ended up getting two more for the other cables I had lying around. Not particularly cheap but not unreasonable either. So happy I bought this.

Come apart when cord is rolled
Wanted to use several of those for microphone cords, we have 10โ 20โ 25โ and 30โ cords. Heavy duty is an exaggeration, the wheel is made out of thin flexible plastic which is supposed to be held together with small plastic tabs which disengage often when trying to spool a cord off. Weโve lost so much time with these reels when they split in half, leaving us with a cable mess to sort out at time sensitive setups ups and tear downs. Weโve superglued them together, which helped, but after a reel coming apart again at a show last week we are ready to throw them out. We hope the product improved

Perfect Fit for 100 foot 12 Guage Extension Cord.
This plastic reel accommodates a 100 foot long 12 guage extension cord. As seen in the picture, its a perfect fit for my extension cord. If you take your time and roll up the cord neatly, it will fit with no problems. The reel turns effortlessly. The nob to turn the reel is a bit on the small side but works fine. Time will show the durability of this product.

solid product
I bought it in Nov 2017 and still use it. The more I used it, the more I like it. I have a very long power cord. In the beginning, I am not quite familiar with it. As I get used to it, I can roll and unroll it very quickly. The trick is, you need to adjust the direction you are facing so that the cord is always in your back. Since it is made of metal and has weight, it gives you a sturdy feeling, although you do need to step on its support sometimes. overall, no complaints.

A little pricey for what it is
Ordered and arrived quickly and exactly as described. Assembled in no time with a couple clicks to assemble the plastic wheel. Tubular steel frame is what I wanted to see as the plastic ones I presume will be less durable...tie will tell. $46CAN seems a little expensive for what it is and does. Very nicely would up my 100' 14/3 extension cord which I am confident will come to provide realized value as I use it in the coming years. I have a second cord but wouldnt spend this much on a second one when I can simply wind it up into a milk crate and put on a shelf. If you don't already own the extension cord I would ABSOLUTELY not buy this, instead opting for a product that is both reel AND extension cord with built in groiunded 4-outlet options for around $100.00 Good product and initially happy with the purchase. Time will tell if I stay that way. Wouldnt buy this for a commercial or industrial application.
