Raspberry Pi Zero W Complete Kit (includes a 16GB MicroSD with Raspbian)

I bought this for use with Motioneyeos. I added a pizero camera and an sd card I imaged myself. It works perfectly. I cant fault anything that is raspberry pi branded. It really is exceptional hardware with so many uses and projects.

The Pi Zero W is an amazing IoT device with a multitude of uses. I use mine to host pi.hole - an excellent, open-source advertising and tracking blocker. This kit allowed me to place the Pi Zero behind my router and power it from the built-in USB port. All ads and tracking are now blocked for every device on my network. I can imagine dozens more use cases for such a tiny, low-powered unit, including a VPN, NAS or doorbell security - this would be easy with the included case covers, one of which has cut-out specifically for a Pi camera. Highly recommended.

Good little beginners kit. Could of done with having some more stuff in it for the price. Everything included did work and was useful.

Initially struggled getting the product to work correctly as after booting for the first time, subsequent boots would result in no image output. The resolution to this was flashing my own version of raspian to the sd card and its been running fine ever since. My version may have been corrupted so hopefully this doesn't happen to you!! (Though the fix takes just 5 minutes) Using this raspberry pi for Pi-Hole and it works great, though these little machines are incredibly versatile and can be used for pretty much any small projects!! (Though the 0 w doesn't run great as a standalone pc I should add) If you have a laptop you don't even need a secondary screen to get this up and running as you can use vnc viewer to see the pi desktop on your laptop screen. (YouTube is your friend if you're first starting out!!) Enjoy your new tiny device!!

Really great kit, has almost everything you could need for a Pi Zero project. My only complaint is that the clamshell doesn't stay closed very well with a Zero Cam and ribbon cable installed. I used a bit of blutac to hold it closed. Would recommend to anyone starting out.

Bought this to replace a Pi 4 that I was using as an overkill Pi-hole before tinkering with some other projects. Had everything I needed in the kit and does the trick just nice and I got it set up in about 20 minutes and set it to work. A little bonus that I'm sure wasn't intended. Says it comes with a 16GB MicroSD, but mine came with 32GB. Not complaining of course. If anything it could do with a power adapter being added, but it will run off of a USB 3.0 port. Most modern phone chargers should do the trick too and for me, my power strip has a couple of 2.5A USB outputs which work just fine.

The pi is good and it all looks nice. However, the case seems to stop the HDMI adaptor from fully fitting. This can cause connection issues.

Always wanted to get a Raspberry Pi and learn programming, but never found the time. A great way to spend the lockdown. This is a great kit if you are a starter, make sure you get the zero W version which has inbuilt WiFi. 32GB micro SD card has plenty of space and 1GB memory Is enough If you are a newbi like me.
