Really good on PC / Laptop
I got the XBox version of the earbuds.2.4 mode on my gaming laptop has been a very pleasant experience. Sound quality is excellent and battery lasts few gaming sessions unlike other earbuds.I have trouble with over ear headphones due to heat and this eliminates that issue for me. Very comfortable and has a tight fit. Does not get loose in my ear like most earbuds.I used bluetooth mode on my phone but it was a bit annoying due to this automatically playing music while I was playing call of duty mobile. But I’m sure this touch sensitive setting can be adjusted. But I haven’t tried it.

Poor build quality and terrible support.
I have had these for about 7 months, and in that time I have had two instances where the case will not charge. It's happening right now as I write this. The support website for Steele Series is almost impossible to navigate, it took me so long to open a ticket using their automated "AI" system because my issue wasnt listed and it refused to connect me to an Agent. Once it did I was able to open a ticket but the charging function started working again on its own, so I didn't follow up on it. That was a bad idea because here I am now with the same issue. A factory reset does not resolve the problem and their support is impossible to reach. The sound quality is amazing, and there is no lag. But I wouldn't recommend them based on poor build quality and terrible support.

Update your earbuds before using them
Not really sure why people gave these bad reviewsOne thing to consider make sure that you update these on your computer because they have a firm or update that need to be pushed out. That will probably solve a lot of problems that people may have with these.I will admit that they probably should inform customers in the packaging that these need to be updated****** update. I am returning these earbuds after using them for about 4 to 5 hours they were already between 20 to 30% left. And I had active noise cancellation on.But yet on here, it says that you get 10 hours battery life maybe it should say with or without active noise cancellationThese don’t provide the battery life that’s advertised here and I have the latest firm updated on themI really wanted to like these, but I can’t have earbuds that don’t last very long, especially when they don’t last as long as it was advertised

I give it a B+ for now, but...
I took a chance on these and while I will say I have had a much more positive experience with them than most reviews, these earbuds were literally THEE most complicated and confusing electronic product I've ever had to sync or connect to in my entire life.First connecting them to my laptop to get them updated, there's nothing on the arctis site that tells you which computer app to download, I had to search in Google for which version of the seven different computer apps I needed to download. Then connecting them to my computer was a nightmare just trying to connect them with the USB didnt work and it required the dongle, syncing with the dongle; it was a mess and took about 20 min before it finally worked and I could update the firmware. Then syncing them with my phone, another nightmare as you try to sync them in the case and it shows that it connects with your phone for a brief moment before disconnecting, did that for about 15 minutes before I took them out of the case and they just connected right away. Nothing in the box or anything telling you how to do this, this was my own troubleshooting that I eventually figured out.Lastly connecting to my Xbox which I thought would be the easiest part with the dongle. You would think it would just be a plug, switch to xbox on the dongle and it would automatically connect but no, you have to sync with the xbox as well and waiting for them to sync, the dongle and the earbuds flashed that they were syncing for probably five minutes. I was literally 10 seconds away from calling it and sending them back......but, they eventually connected. I gamed with them, was in a party and everything sounded good. My buddy said they didn't sound bad at all, that it was a little muffled but not terrible by any means. Shifting the earbuds around helped the muffling as the mic I think was pressed against a part of my ear. The sound quality for me is amazing.I'm not a competitive gamer who relies on my mic to be lightning quick responsive or anything, I'm just a dude who enjoys gaming and hanging out in a party with my buddies and playing VG's. I bought these because I was tired of my turtle beaches giving me headset hair and cutting me off from my family when I wore them. These Gamebuds are comfy, allow for me to still hear my family and are exactly what I was looking for. They were just an absolute pain. In. The. A** to get connected. So 4 out of 5 for me. For now..

Amazing for gaming.
Works phenomenally. Use it on my PC all the time and sometimes on my switch. Will be easier on switch 2 to use with the extra USB C port though while charging.

Decent but Far From Perfect
Bought these headphones a couple months ago and started out really liking them. Comfortable for all day wear, the app allows for sound customization, and the dongle is much more reliable then Bluetooth when using on PC. Now that I’ve used them daily for 8+ hours over the past couple months, they definitely have problems. They shut off at seemingly random intervals when music or videos are paused, sometimes after 2 minutes, sometimes an hour. If you try turning them back on when they shut off, they will immediately turn back off requiring you to wait a few minutes before turning them back on. Half the time they don’t charge when you put them back in the case, and my right earbud picks and chooses if it wants to turn on depending on the day. The microphone quality is abysmal when used on PC, which was extremely disappointing considering I was hoping to use them with Teams for meetings. Overall pretty unsatisfied with their performance and would not recommend these to anyone looking for earbuds in this price range.
