Waveshare ESP32-C6 1.47inch Microcontroller Wi-Fi 6 Development Board 160MHz Single-Core Processor 172x320 LCD Screen 262K Color with RGB BLE5 4MB Flash for LVGL GUI Development, etc

Very neat little device this. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything, and it's certainly fun to play with. The screen is a bit small for anything really practical, but what more would you expect from a 1.47 inch screen?

'B' the BOOT Button (GPIO9) can be used as a regular input button after startup :-)

Very small ESP with some features, but the screen gets dark after getting hot because of powering by usb

Very, very small and extremely difficult to get it working as Waveshare website examples are usually only useful to experienced Arduino developers

Couldn't get it to work with provided instructions, that seem to be out of date.

Seen a YT video with this and fancied this used it to monitor the WiFi at home Was a tad lazy and got my son to set it up (good training for him) Took him 2hrs to set up how i wanted and another Hr messing around with the WiFi connection Says its WiFi 6 but doesn't connect to the 5Gh wifi on my Ubiquiti AP S had to leave it on the 2.5Gh band. Like others say it does get hot but with no active cooling you cant expect otherwise Other than that its ok and does what is wanted

Happy with the build quality of the device, but the OLED screen is very fragile and cracked almost as soon as I started using it - simply by applying pressure when wiping it clean and was further cracked when it was dropped from 2-3cm on to my laptop palm rest. I also found that the OLED ribbon cable also gets hot when the backlight is on. Would be good if more protection for the screen was provided.

The good: - Nice clear bright display - Fast CPU - Does 802.15.4 protocols like Thread and Zigbee - Well supported by Arduino and Espressif IDE's (neither of which I particularly like) - Fits on the cheap breadboards with space to add jumpers (unlike the wider ESP32 DevKits) Not so good - If you need headers on this little guy, they are fiddly to solder as the display is not removable (buy with them fitted) - The device is not well supported by Platform.IO, so many projects from GitHub won't compile without messing about - The radio can't do WiFi and Zigbee at the same time. Rapid swapping burns CPU and is not reliable.

Placa desarrollo la cual todo gira alrededor del mítico ESP32, que podríamos decir que es un standard para este tipo de placas. Buena construcción, con buenas añadidos (se habría agradecido una pantalla táctil, pero también entiendo que encarecería y podría dar otros problemas. Además, en la página de la marca facilitan proyectos de entrada para explorar todas sus funcionalidades.

Waveshare ha realizzato un prodotto dalle dimensioni incredibili, utilizzabile nelle più svariate applicazioni. Consigliatissimo!

Was even prutsen maar met hulp van de officiële website het goed werkend gekregen. Nu een super leuk kleine display die gekoppeld is aan mijn Domoticz systeem om status van zonnepanelen, zonnecollectoren en katten weer te geven :)

La qualité est très bonne. Je peux le programmer avec l'IDE d'Arduino. La livraison était rapide. Pas de problèmes à signaler.
