Birkenstock Women's Arizona Soft Footbed Sandals

I’m thrilled!!! This was my first Birkenstock purchase. I chose Amazon because I always buy here first, but then I got nervous after reading the reviews of what people received versus what they ordered. I researched and researched about how to spot fakes and honestly didn’t know what would arrive when they got here - I didn’t have high hopes. But these are for sure the REAL DEAL! I ordered the nubuck suede in Taupe. They’re exactly what I wanted. The straps are soft but very sturdy. The footbed is incredibly comfortable and supportive, even without my having broken them in yet (which I know will take some time to do). *NOTE: these are the original footbed, not the softer, cushioned one. The listing is confusing.* For sizing reference, I’m a solid 10 (ladies) with average if not sometimes wide feet. I ordered a 41 Narrow and they are PERFECT. I was shocked. I could not be happier!

Everything is fine and normal they just sent me the wrong color than what I ordered. Other than that they were in perfect condition

These were recommended to me by my podiatrist to wear around the house since I'm losing some cushion on bottom of my foot. They are comfortable....a little hippy looking for my personal fashion tastes...I prefer to wear my Ugg slippers. :) but evidently they don't offer enough cushion support on hard flooring. The only thing I don't like but wasn't worth dinging a star since they are a very well made shoe and brand known for longevity is that they combine sizes. **About the sizing*** I wear a 9 1/2 - 10. The size I ordered, as all others Birkenstock offers include whole sizes through the next half size up. So I knew I had to order a 10 since I'm in between a 9 1/2 and 10 not 9 - 9 1/2 Looking at it on the bright side if I wanted to wear a really thick wool sock I suppose it would work out but I walk in them bare foot so my foot doesn't always sit right on them. I do wish they would make them in whole sizes and then specifically half sizes. My recommendation to you would be to order up if you are half size or possibly the next size up depending on brand. While they don't fit perfectly they are comfortable to wear.

My first pair of Birkenstocks. Long, long, long break in period with blisters. Unlikely i'll buy another pair of these. Maybe my feet are just not the right shape--as i know many people love this brand. fairly comfortable after long break in.

I've loved Birks for years, these will be perfect for the hot summer months. Priced right!

I ordered this unisex Arizona sandal mainly because I liked the texture of the suede and it was a good price. Too bad the unisex sandal is much more narrow than the men’s sandal. After wearing them around the house for a couple of days, I sent them back. If you are used to the way the men’s sandals fit then order a men’s sandal.

I love these sandals and have always worn them but was very disappointed when I tried them on. The stitching under the straps we’re sewn horribly and I had to tale it to the shoe maker to sew a soft fabric over it. I was very disappointed 😔

I'm giving 3 stars because even though I kept the product and it is in perfect condition, I thought I was getting a huge bargain on birkenstocks with a soft footbed. Not the case. Oh sure, they're soft to the touch, but anyone who knows about birks knows that soft footbeds are supposed to be extra cushy and heavenly. I was so heartbroken, but was leaving for vacation and regular footbed birks were better than nothing. Partly my own fault for not making sure before purchasing, but still...
