I love this yoga mat. I have a bad back and this helped me so much as I did my physical therapy exercised. I loved the extra thickness which also gave me stability.This is a must buy!

I had this yoga mat for 3 months, and this is a very comfortable mat for basic workouts and some HIIT workouts. I know these mats are meant for yoga and stretching muscles in theory. However, I used this for HIIT workouts as well. It is not my primary mat but it is a good secondary when I need more comfort depending upon my HIIT workouts. And it does shift a little or a lot if my workout is intense.To clarify, if I am doing a mix of pushup with a thrust with my legs or arms then it will slightly shift or sometimes more so but then its my human error causing this motion. To be expected and I do not think any mat will be anti-moving when I do HIIT workouts. I just do not want to correct their positions often when I do one session of a workout if this makes sense. Otherwise, I been impressed with this yoga mat regardless and I can not stress enough how comfortable it is.I am 5'3 and 130 lbs. It may be subjective what yoga mat works best for each person out there. For my uses for doing HIIT and basic workouts between stretching muscles, it has been a comfy and helpful mat for the last 3 months so far.I am aware it does have some wear, no tear yet. However, indentations are starting to show up. One of my shoe marks is still there! Otherwise it does the job for what I do so far. I do not think it's much different with anti-slip like the Amazon yoga mat, but I noticed I slipped slightly more when I do my push up and thrust my legs or arms out. I used this on carpet so far, not certain if I had to use it on tile or wood quite yet.Something to reflect about, but if you are doing basic workouts that are not intense, does not require a large range of motion and some yoga then this should be a good option.

This mat is very thick and thus comfy but is you are doing serious yoga I would recommend a thinner mat for more stability. Good quality, but stuff sticks to it and it doesn't lay flat anymore (after like 2 years). Easy to transport.

What do I dislike? Nothing...The price is reasonable price averaging around $15-20 depending on the market.The material is a soft thick durable foam that appears to be strong against tears and the edges are protected by thick stitching. The pad is long enough and thick enough to be used for pilates and can be used for yoga if desired. It comes with the pad itself and a velcro-strapped shoulder sling that is easy to adjust and simple to put on and take off. In terms of slippage, I do not have a problem with slipping on hard floors. I was looking at many mats and deemed them as not the best due to size, pricing, durability, thickness, looks, and slippage. This mat is simplistic with no visible logos.Why is this the review for the stubborn buyer? Well, I wanted a pilates mat for over four months and only made the purchase recently. Why? I ordered this mat because I needed something more supportive and thick for those floor exercises. This did not disappoint ! It wasn't just thick, it was totally different than other mats that I've used. It's not a dense kind of thick, but squishy type. Just standing on it makes me happy.I also loved how the edges are wrapped nicely with a cloth like material, makes the mat feel so much more polished. It's also lightweight, which makes carrying it a breeze. The Velcro carrying strap that came with made it a fantastic buy, I don't need to purchase a separate strap for it.The length of the mat is good, suitable for taller users or anyone who'd like the longer length. It unravels nicely and stays flat, unlike my previous one. Cleaning it is also super easy, just wipe off with a damp cloth.Overall, I would highly recommend this mat if you're looking for a thicker, supportive mat for exercise that comes with a carrying strap ! There are lots of colours to choose from as well.
