Perfect size for free draining soil mix
This was bought for making a bonsai soil mix. I combined with Akadama & lava rock but it can be mixed with other non organic or organic compost. Adding pumice stone to any soil mix will help retain moisture & nutrients, helps root ramification and provide drainage. The size is perfect with little waste. I was fussy and wanted everything from 3-6mm. So sieved through a 1/4 inch (6.35mm) sieve, 95% went through with the rest being up to 8 mm.. then sieved through a 3mm sieve as I didn’t want anything smaller, again with little dust and smaller particles. All in all great value due to so little waste.

There's no denying these specialist bonsai and terrarium substrates are expensive, but this is a great quality product and I would definitely buy this brand again and from this supplier.

GREAT!
I use this for making my own plant soil and it is just what I needed! Great alternative to perlite as over- time perlite crumbles and floats on top. Will buy again for sure!

Quality product
I bought this to mix with compost for my succulents. This is the only place I have found to buy Pumice in this quantity. Price and delivery are quite reasonable too. The product itself comes in it's original packaging, is good clean Pumice and my plants are thriving. I highly recommend this product.
