Aftercut 20400372 Lawn Thickener Feed and Seed, 100 m2, 3.5 kg, Brown

I’ve been using the Aftercut Lawn Thickener Feed and Seed for a few years now, and each year, I’m impressed with the results! I have two small-sized lawns, and this 5.25 kg bag easily covers the area as advertised. The application process is simple, and the spreader works well, giving an even distribution. What I love most is how quickly this product starts to work. After a few days, there will be new grass growth, and my lawns start looking thicker and more vibrant. The mix of feed and seed really helps improve the overall health of the grass, and I can see fewer bare patches in just a couple of weeks. I also appreciate the product's green tint—it made it easy to see where I've applied it, and I don't miss any spots. My lawns look much healthier within a short time after use, and I’ve had fewer weeds popping up compared to before. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their lawn. Good quality grass has grown on the bald patches on my lawn. I would use it again happily. My only negative is the box lid was unstuck when delivered and seed was spilling into the outer amazon box. Also I've seen it cheaper at my local Wickes by £1.40.

This does what it says on the box, you need patience as it’s not instant. I scalped the lawn, scarified it manually with a rake, applied lawn weed killer as there were more weeds than grass - this took around 2-3 weeks to take effect. I then scalped the lawn and took it as low as it could go, you can see from the original photo how patchy it was where the weeds were removed. I’ve applied this feed every two weeks after a cut on grade 3 and the growth and thickness is improving each week. It still has some patchiness but I expect that to fill in as the weeks go on, I’ve also been avidly watering the lawn when we’ve had a warm dry day I think this is as important as the feeding you cant expect it to do it all by itself. So here it is…I’m officially old excited about grass health and growth and stand watering it before bedtime.

Used this product on both my front lawn and rear. Pros: : Now on parts on the lawn the stuff is fab really green and thicker lawn after about 2 weeks Easy to apply if you have a spreader. Cons: not sure of the product is mixed properly but in several places it has burnt the lawn and killed the grass overnight. Literally gone black and brown.... Don't get it on paving ,(I know it contains mentals) had a small amount left in the bottom of the spreader and accidentally left it out overnight on the patio.... now have a copper coloured stain on my slabs .... bleach won't even remove it . I use a lawn spreader as in the push type, used the recommended settings on the pack. So it's been hard work getting these areas back to normal using seed as the earth is compromised now. So although it's effective in areas , BEAWARE it can burn your lawn in some areas. Despite heavy watering if ita not rained.

This product definitely works. My grass is the best its ever been despite a diffucult summer with the heat this has helped my lawn bounce back really well.

My back lawn was patchy with weeds & bald sections and despite using other products and trying reseeding it wasn't taking. So I called out a lawn treatment company having had a flyer through the door, they gave it a look, said I should cut and water it more frequently and have them treat it throughout the spring & summer and maintain over the autumn and winter periods all for a monthly fee, which seemed reasonable until you added it all up and how much it cost a year. Anyway my neighbour saw the guy leaving & mentioned to me he used to do the same, but was told about Aftercut by another elderly retired neighbour whose grass looks like a bowling green and is immaculate. So I bought a pack with the inbuilt sprinkler and started to use it at the end of spring/start of summer, watering the grass regularly and cutting it weekly. It is now mid September & my lawn after 2.5 tubs of aftercut, weekly cutting & watering now has no weeds, no bald patches and granted it is not a flat green bowling green, but more like a crown green bowling green. I am well pleased with the results and for the money it has saved me on getting someone else in to do the same, but the satisfaction of looking at the lush lawn I resolved myself, well with AfterCut.
