Great replacement for my Makita jigsaw battery
Great replacement for my Makita jigsaw. Far less costly than a Makita battery. Works well in the tool and charges well in the Makita charger. Holds a charge as long as one would expect for a 14v tool.

fits the older Makita
Love it....I've been looking so long for these for my Makita drill and now it is perfect again!

Great replacement batteries for a classic indestructible Makita.
Got these for an old Makita that I replaced when the batteries went dead years ago. I gave it to my son as his first cordless drill with the new batteries and they work perfect. He uses the crap out of that thing, and I think they may be more powerful than the originals.

Fits my tools and, so far, seems to work ok
The batteries (I got the 2-pack), fit my tools and so far at least, seem to be working. Longevity, Value for the $, & battery life are still to be determined. I was going to hold off doing a review until I see how they work out, but the seller seems to be pretty insistent that I write a review. I don't know about you, but I find being constantly nagged about something to be an irritant. Because of that, I was tempted to give a 1-star review just for the nagging factor. But that would not be fair so I deducted one star. Once I see how the batteries hold up, I may revise the review but for now I can't honestly say much either good or bad about them. I can say that I have not had a good experience with off name batteries so my expectations are not all that high. My poor experience with off name batteries may be partly my fault. With the name brand, I have had good success and for my 18 volt tools I generally stick with the manufacturers battery. I can fully discharge them and use them pretty hard and they hold up well. I kind of suspect that off name batteries do not have quite as good a BMS and if you use them too hard or discharge them too much they pay you back by dying. It is my intent to try to baby these batteries and not get them hot or discharge them until the tool stops working before I charge them. I don't know if I will be able to though. There is that mindset (which I am guilty of), that 'I want to drive just one more screw', and that turns out to be the one that toasts the battery. Having said that though, it may be that the BMS is perfectly adequate and the manufacturer uses off brand cells when they build them. None of that may true in this case though. The manufacturer may have used good quality cells and a good quality BMS and the batteries may last for years. I hope so.
