INTEX Rectangular Frame 8 ft 6 in x 5 ft 3 in x 25 in Above Ground Pool, Swimming Pool with Steel Frame, Pump Not Included

So far so good! Got this built within a few hours by myself (35 year old female). Because it’s a million degrees in Texas, I decided to put it together in bite-sized chunks. Every time I let the dogs outside, I’d build another wall or two. Before I knew, it was ready for water! It’s filling as we speak, which may actually take a few hours because this medium-sized pool is actually quite large! It can easily fit several large adults comfortably. Looks and feels really durable, so we’ll see how it holds up. As for the ease of installation, I’d probably recommend it being a two person job, but definitely doable for one adult - just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, know where each pole goes, and take note of where the holes are on each because it really does matter. I know it may seem counterproductive to do the top first, as the instructions are stated, but it actually does make this build a lot easier. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money so far, but we’ll see after a month or so of use! Note: I’m not using the filter parts because I don’t care to deal with it or purchase a pump, so I can’t speak to that. Also, I got this for myself and my fiance to cool off over the summer and I would absolutely call this an adult pool. Tips: • DO follow directions - don’t wing it, I guarantee you’ll likely have to take things apart and redo them. • DO leave it out for at least 24 hours as stated in the directions - it’s a surprisingly important first step. • Once fully built, make sure the side legs are completely out and pressed against the T-shaped holders at the bottom of the pool. This will ensure its stability. • For this particular size, I would NOT recommend children being left unattended, as it’s quite large and deep. I wouldn’t recommend for dogs either because it’s simply too large, unless you have a pony for a dog or don’t mind picking them up and taking them out - PLEASE don’t leave dogs/animals or children unattended with this pool. If you need that, this isn’t the pool for you. • If you don’t use the filter system, still make sure to put the stoppers in the filter holes so the water doesn’t drain out. (This can be an easy step to miss if you aren’t careful) • I recommend a small chlorine floater that uses the small tablets. Super easy and cheap for maintenance. • I also recommend a cover whether you do or don’t use the filter system. This will keep it much cleaner and help ensure that small wildlife doesn’t get in that can’t get out. • If you don’t want to spring for a net for cleaning, just pull debris out by hand or use a colander or kitchen sieve. Simple and effective!

You can tell right away that this isn’t one of those cheap, temporary pools—it’s designed to last through the season (and beyond if you take care of it). Setup was surprisingly straightforward. If you’ve got a level surface and take your time, you can have it ready without any major headaches. Definitely recommend having two people for faster assembly, but it’s not overly complicated. One thing to note—the pump is not included. That might seem like a downside at first, but honestly, it’s a benefit. It lets you choose a better quality pump instead of being stuck with a weak one. I paired mine with a stronger filter system, and the water has stayed crystal clear. Durability has been excellent so far. The liner feels thick and resistant, and it handles regular use without any issues. Kids, adults, splashing—no problem. Overall, this pool delivers serious value for the price. It’s sturdy, spacious, and practical. If you’re looking for a reliable above-ground pool that doesn’t feel cheap or cramped, this is an easy recommendation. Highly satisfied and would absolutely buy again.

Setup was a breeze — it took very little time and effort to get it up and running. We filled it using our well water without any issues. From the second it got delivered to filling it up completely, it only took two hours TOTAL. This is the 9ftX6ft pool, we also separately bought the intex C530 pump which was very easy to set up and get running, along with the intex skimmer and 3” chlorine tabs. The only issue we’ve run into is the sides of the metal frame bowing inwards. They were caving in from the second we started building it but I’ve read other reviews though and it seems to be a common thing, hopefully it won’t become an issue. We leveled out the ground under it and put fake grass down as padding instead of a tarp. It’s a great size, fit myself (5’7”) my husband (6ft) and our three year old with tons of room to spare. So far no leaks or holes

Nice pool. Set up was quick and easy no leaks be sure to get a cover this is my first pool and the cover protects the water from debris. Be sure the filter pump you buy (pool does not come with a pump) has small hoses I believe they are 1 1/2” hoses and adapters. Follow the directions, lay out the pool on a tarp for at least 18-24 hours before assembling I put it on a tarp in my garage overnight and brought it outside while leveling the ground the next day before setting up

Amazing product, great price very easy set up. The extra Pieces inside the main pieces labeled (A,B,C) are the legs or vertical pieces for the stand. Apart from that everything is straight forward and should take about 1-2hr doing it alone or with a help.

We have a moderate sized back yard that has some slope across most of it, so circle pools really don’t work well for that, but the rectangular ones are perfect. In the past, we bought other brands and they only lasted a year, but the Intex brand one has better quality poles and a great liner, so we are currently on year 2 with it. We have patched 1 spot just now and no other problems so far. The metal poles are starting to rust a bit on the inside, but that’s it. Great for practicing “safe water” for our water-loving autistic son, also.

This pool says it takes 30 mins or less to set up, this took over an hour. The piles say they are steel but they dont feel like it. They are flimbsy, weak, the legs dont stay in place even when filled so the pool is unsafe in my opinion. The next issue is if you touch the walls at all the piles come apart. My kids were in the pool while I sat outside it and my son grabbed the wall while moving and the pole came completely apart. The water prevented it from going back together but caused the wall to bend down moving the water making that end deeper and bowing out the other poles. My son weighs 30 pounds and barely touched it, there is no reason a family pool should be that weak. I am returning this item and will be buying a different brand as I feel these pools are a huge hazard. I cant see it lasting long term if It came apart after 10 mins of use. Very disappointed.

Ich habe den INTEX „Metal Frame“ Pool gekauft, um den Sommer im Garten zu überleben – und ich sag’s direkt: Aufbau überraschend gut. Wirklich. Ich bin normalerweise jemand, der schon bei IKEA-Anleitungen emotional wird. Aber hier: verständlich, logisch, keine unnötigen Dramen. Ich war fast enttäuscht, dass ich nichts anschreien musste. Die Metallkonstruktion wirkt stabil, alles greift sauber ineinander – kein „hä, wo gehört das hin?“ Kurz gesagt: Selbst ich habe es geschafft. Das sagt alles. Das Befüllen dauert wie immer ein bisschen, aber das gehört ja zum Ritual. Man steht daneben, schaut zu und fühlt sich plötzlich wie ein Projektleiter im Bereich „Wasser“. Und dann: rein ins Wasser – sofortige Belohnung. Abkühlung top, Stimmung top, Sommer gerettet. Kleiner Realitätscheck: Fürs Seepferdchen reicht es trotzdem nicht. Ich habe es versucht – zwei Züge, Wandkontakt. Karriere beendet. Aber zum Planschen, Entspannen und „Ich habe einen Pool“-Gefühl absolut perfekt. Einziger „Nachteil“: Man entwickelt plötzlich Stolz auf einen Pool im eigenen Garten. Ich habe ernsthaft überlegt, Eintritt zu verlangen. Fazit: Einfacher Aufbau, stabile Qualität und jede Menge Spaß – auch ohne Schwimmabzeichen. 5 Sterne, weil ich selten so stressfrei etwas aufgebaut habe, das mich danach so glücklich gemacht hat.

I bought the small pool on sale, what a bargain. Its not exactly small its impresivly big. I can not beleive the size of it, Looks great, its very well made and the quality is really good, very easy to put up, and it took 3 hours to fill to half way, my son who is autistic and loves going swimmimg spent 3 hours in it and loves it.

Sturdy! We sat on the corners when only soaking our legs. Set up was easy with the help of my mom. Make sure the area you will place it is level. We placed it on the grass, it was easy to move around when empty. once its filled a couple of inches you can see if its level or not. We loved it and whoever saw it always asked where we got it. I saw a few videos on youtube regarding maintaining it, bought pucks, brushed it daily but once I got a dollarstore tarp for it the maintenance was cut down a lot! It was covered nightly and when not in use. We only needed to change the water once - it was not covered, rained all week and the water went green. I also got a special sponge to pick up oils etc. Get a basic pump to keep it clean and inviting. Well worth the investment. Can't wait until next summer! I have yet to pack it up this year so will update if any issues.
